Shenzhen Guangming District Hotels

This was my first time booking the Grand Mercure (Guangming) through Ctrip, and the package deal was incredibly affordable – less than 1,000 RMB for a stay including breakfast and dinner for two. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a stone's throw from Fenghuangcheng Metro Station. Simply take Exit D, and after a short walk and an escalator ride, you're there in minutes. This makes commuting within the city or exploring nearby areas incredibly convenient. There are also direct buses to the airport and Hong Kong right next to the hotel, making travel for tight schedules or leisurely trips completely hassle-free, with no need to worry about planning routes. Furthermore, Wanda Plaza and Blue Whale World are within easy reach, offering a one-stop solution for shopping, dining, and movies. Staying here truly is super convenient. These advantages were precisely why I chose this hotel for my visit. My only disappointment this time was being assigned room 110x. Despite specifically requesting a room away from the elevator in my booking, I was given a room right as you step out of the lift. This clearly indicates that the hotel does not prioritize guest requests, and I strongly advise them to address this customer service oversight for future improvement. On the day of check-in, there was a queue at the front desk due to many arrivals. However, the front desk staff were exceptionally efficient, clearing the line in under 5 minutes. Their speed and professionalism are truly commendable. The room facilities were also very good. The twin beds were comfortable, and the room itself was spacious. Comprehensive amenities such as a bath cap, amenity kit, shaver, body lotion, and conditioner were all provided. The room featured a large sofa, a writing desk, and offered stunning, unobstructed views from the window. The air conditioning was also pleasantly quiet. There was a slight hiccup regarding seating arrangements at the buffet. On that particular evening, the restaurant was exceptionally busy with many diners, including a large tour group from Hong Kong, leading to a shortage of available tables. As I had pre-booked my table through Ctrip customer service the day before, I expected no issues. After a brief delay, I contacted Ctrip to help resolve the situation. Fortunately, the on-duty Ctrip customer service representative swiftly intervened and contacted the restaurant's manager, Jiajia, who promptly assisted. The misunderstanding was smoothly resolved. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Ctrip staff and the restaurant manager, Jiajia, for their professional and fair handling of the situation, which led to a satisfactory resolution. In summary, the hotel's hardware and facilities are undeniably excellent. However, there are still some areas for improvement concerning certain staff members, whose customer service attitude sometimes appears inexperienced, self-important, and in need of further training and development.

When I booked the room, I decided to stay because it had a sofa. However, upon checking in, I was disappointed and displeased to find a different room than what I'd booked. I later asked the front desk to change rooms, and the smiling, bespectacled man initially said there were no other rooms available. After some discussion, he finally made the effort to help us find a room and personally took us upstairs to see if it was suitable. I'm very grateful to the front desk staff for their patience and sincerity. Although I forgot his name, I'm grateful for his proactive approach to resolving the issue. The hotel is also very conveniently located, close to the subway station and a major shopping mall. The food at the revolving restaurant on the top floor was decent. Overall, it was quite good.

My recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Shenzhen Guangming truly exceeded my expectations! The location is very convenient, not far from Guangming Science City and the subway station, making it easy to get around by taxi or public transport. While the room wasn't exceptionally large, the layout was incredibly efficient, with ample storage space. It was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was so comfortable I never wanted to get up! The hot water in the bathroom was instant, with perfect water pressure. The toiletries had a fresh scent and were very pleasant to use. The hotel also has a gym, which was very convenient for exercising. The biggest highlight was breakfast! The variety was exceptional, offering both Chinese and Western options. The noodles were absolutely delicious, and the fruit was very fresh. I left feeling completely satisfied and ready to start my day. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were both quick, and they thoughtfully provided recommendations for nearby attractions, which I found very welcoming. Overall, the value for money is excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guangming, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

This hotel, newly opened this year, offers a fantastic ambiance. The housekeeping was incredibly meticulous, ensuring every corner was spotless. The Wi-Fi signal was strong, allowing for seamless video streaming without any buffering, truly creating a 'home away from home' experience. The breakfast was also very generous and varied. All in all, a stay that perfectly met my expectations.

The big oxygen bar in the golf course, good environment, good service, brought two children and took the initiative to give two more breakfast coupons, the room is very large, it is spacious to bring children, the children have a lot of fun

Since it was built in 2024, the rooms and lobby are very simple and bright. Although the location is a bit remote, there are a lot of bicycles and electric vehicles for rent at the door. It is convenient to walk to the nearest large shopping mall in about 15 minutes. The hotel facilities are very simple, the rooms are spacious and the stay is very comfortable. The TV can watch Hong Kong Jade Channel. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful. I am very confident about the experience of Jiquan Hotel.

The transportation is convenient, and there are many restaurants around. There is a Phoenix Restaurant in Guangming Square next to it. There are many choices for tea, squab, and stir-fry. There are various restaurants in the food street opposite Guangming Square.

I traveled to Hong Kong with my mom, and frankly, I was quite disappointed with the accommodation there. So, we simply decided to stay in Shenzhen for the night instead, and that's how we stumbled upon this absolute gem of a hotel! Newly opened in 2025, it's a proper hotel, not a guesthouse! The rooms are immaculate – bright, clean, and hygienic. They are about 30 square meters, featuring a two-meter king-size bed. My mom and I shared it, and there was even enough space for a third person! 😉 Each room also has a mini-fridge/minibar, a lightweight and stylish hairdryer, and a smart toilet. The smart toilet automatically opens its lid when you enter the bathroom and closes it when you leave, which at the very least ensures there are no unpleasant odors. What's most commendable is that the towels are stored not on an open shelf, but in a sterilizing cabinet with UV and ozone disinfection, giving us complete peace of mind when using them. Since we're not used to sharing one duvet, and we arrived quite late, almost midnight, the staff immediately brought an extra duvet. Also, as we have sensitive stomachs and prefer not to drink iced mineral water from the minibar, the staff thoughtfully delivered two bottles of room-temperature water. This level of consideration was truly touching. In short, both the facilities (hardware) and the service (software) were flawless. The breakfast, while not luxurious, was simple but incredibly practical and wholesome – congee, sweet potatoes, steamed buns, eggs, and vegetables – just like what we typically eat. I've already recommended it to several friends, as the value for money is outstanding!

Breakfast offered such a wide variety, with both Chinese and Western options, that it was hard to choose. The ingredients were fresh, and the taste was excellent. For dinner, we tried the hotel's specialty dishes, and every bite was a delight. The service was also incredibly attentive, with prompt water refills and plate changes. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is absolutely my top choice. I've already enthusiastically recommended it to all my friends, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!
