I read so many bad reviews about this hotel. I am just curious how bad it is, so I booked this hotel for two nights. The front desk lady is very nice, and the room is clean and nice. The hotel is not bad at all.

This location is lacking many basic neecessities. The list includes - breakfast (the website indicates there is a breakfast), a clean pool (this location has brownish-black water and clearly has not been working for some time), the lobby water machine did not work, the lobby coffee was empty, the room did not include soap or shampoo, nor did it have functioning air conditioning (it was 104 degrees in Texas yesterday). In addition, when I attempted to discuss with a manager, she was rude, agressive, and horifically unprofessional.

HOTEL OF HORROR
First of all when we got there, we had to change rooms because there was no AC in our room. Then they refused to bring us the towels we asked for we had to walk all the way to the front to get them.
Around 11 o’clock at night when we needed the room change we waited at the front door for 10 minutes before someone came to unlock the door and talk to us.
When we got put into the new room as soon as I touched the bed, a roach ran from underneath the pillow.
Our second night we got back pretty late and there were several creepy men just hanging outside of the hotel just watching us. We felt very unsafe due to being 4 women, on top of the uncomfortable and disgusting room we were in. We ended up leaving around 10:30 the second night. Not completing our stay.

Will probably stay somewhere else next time
When we arrived it took us 4 rooms before we found one that the door lock and air conditioner both worked. We had to walk back and forth across the property each time to tell them it still wasn’t working. The front counter lady seemed very annoyed by having to change rooms again, and she never once hung up her phone call the entire time, not a work call she was discussing a recipe and couldn’t be bothered to help. We also requested ahead of time for a bottom floor and was put on the top floor. We travel to the area every few months and we have always stayed here. It wasn’t the nicest but it was clean, quiet and we always got good service up until this time. We will probably be looking elsewhere for the next trip.

Horrible place to stay
My keycard didn't work the entire time I was there i kept having to go to the front desk to get my door unlocked when they finally came to fix it on my last night there they didn't put it back together properly so it fell off the doors between rooms the one on my side was broken so had they put anybody in that other room and they wanted to come through to my room, I'd have been out of luck and the breakfast gave me food poisoning

The best thing about this place was the pricing is reasonable. With that being said though, my key to the door didn’t work, the water & ice machine do not work & the Continental breakfast consisted of nothing more than bagels & grape jelly.
