Wingate by Wyndham Sheboygan

Its near the Sheybogan main street and easy to find restaurants. Also near the lake which is a short drive to see the beautiful view. Room air conditioner can be a tadd noisy when running, I used ear plugs to sleep better. Beds are nice. I noticed some people loitering around outside the parking lot which was abit concerning to me, but no issues faced.

We arrived later into the night… well 2am, and were greeted by someone happy to help us. Good rate and felt so good to be able to finally relax and go. Also let us have a later checkout. Which was also appreciated. Went shopping and enjoyed having all the options in the world for us to choose to eat or shop at.

The place was pretty gross, I had to stay there for work, for over a week, cleaning service came once during that time. The air conditioner leaked water through/down the wall all over the floor. There was mold in my coworkers shower. Some things had damage to them. Randomly made me change rooms. The elevator hadn’t been inspected since 2014. Just find another hotel or stay at an AirBnB

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely loved my stay! The rooms were spotless, the food was delicious, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The pool area was stunning, and the service was top-notch from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended for a luxurious and relaxing experience!

I stayed here as a single female and had an incident when I left with a man in plain clothes who was standing outside my room around checkout time. He aggressively called out to me repeatedly, came up behind me then chased me as I ran down the stairs into the lobby. Because of the timing of him loitering around the room at my check out time I was concerned there was a camera in the room and wrote customer feedback through the Wyndham website and called the hotel. The woman I spoke to at the desk put me on hold for a single minute and came back and said she checked the cameras and that he was a housekeeper and it was just a coincidence he was outside my room at that time. I later got an email from the hotel saying they didn’t know who the man was and had opened a police report. I called the hotel back and the manager interrupted me and told me again I was overreacting and that I wasn’t being chased. I then told her about the email and she told me it was written by AI (it clearly was not as it was written in very poor English). She refused to give me a refund or confirm they had checked the room for cameras. I called Wyndham execs and spoke to them and they said there was nothing they could do but explicitly told me that the email reply I had received had also come from this specific hotel directly. So then I finally I called the local police department who confirmed that NO report had been filed and told me that they 100% believed what happened to me because this is the worst and most unsafe hotel in town and that no single woman should ever stay there. They said based on the history of this place they would not be surprised if there were cameras in the room but unfortunately I didn’t contact them right away so they are unable to investigate it as the hotel will not cooperate with them. No one should ever stay at this place and definitely don’t bring your kids here.

My experience with this motel was really good and all services was really friendly and good..!!! Thank you so much for this kind of behaviour and service.
