Holiday Inn Shaoguan Downtown Reviews

All good but the last night, there were two men smoking on the 9th floor which is SUPPOSED TO BE A NON-SMOKING floor. I Hope that Holiday Inn Shaoguan staff must be more strict with regards to the HIGH STANDARDS OF IHG HOTELS. They should live up to their name. Also, the refrigerator was not cold at all inside my room. There was no laundry bag as well and the room smelled stuffy and damped.

The location is excellent, opposite to a big shopping mall. Will definitely come back next time!

A beautifull position right next to a Shopping Plaza ,with a Starbucks ,KFC and Macdonalds.Warm water indoor swimming pool at 28 degrees ,and a Gym and a Sauna ! Excellent Breakfast , eggs,bacon,butter,toast and salmon & cheese.Filter coffee,cappachino and Espresso ! Friendly and helpfull staff and Hotel Manager ! Highly Recommended.

Great stay here. We liked it so much after travelling in China during the Spring festival, we stayed an extra night . -quiet in the rooms -comfortable beds -high quality linens and towels -fast Internet -a 15 minutes car ride to both train stations -surprise fruit gift on forst day (image) - great servive from all staff, from front desk to room cleaner. Xiao Ming i cafe went to extra effort and was super helpful and thoughtful. -delicious breakfast with good coffee, french bread and yum dim sum. All in all we enjoyed some down time here and had a fantastic stay.

Good location

Well, what do you expect of Holiday inn ? Exactly same standard wherever you go, here they do deliver it. Comfy bed, excellent pillow selection, all things works in the room, nice furniture and good lighting. Front staff very attentive and nice. Internet runs smoothly. Plus? Tvb Pearl (HK channel in English ) . Check in and check out seamless. You pay the price and it's worth every penny.

Nice breakfast buffet and great pool, clean and beautiful. There are sauna in the locker rooms. I recommend.

The hotel is clean and sanitary, with a good surrounding environment. It is opposite the Moore City, which is very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun. I habitually write reviews when I travel, it's really unexpected that a four-star hotel under InterContinental can be so bad, except for the good location, nothing else! The air conditioning is on heating throughout the hotel, it's so hot that we sweat, and we asked for a fan. We coordinated many times that it was too hot, too hot, and arranged for an electrician to adjust it. The electrician just came over and perfunctorily pressed the air conditioning twice, saying that this is to send air, I'm sending you a ghost, it's even hotter, and asked them to send us a bathtub and a baby bed! Only the bed was sent, and the tub was not sent after our child took a bath... Neat and clean, the heating is very hot and toasty. Since the central area cannot cool down, the staff can only give us a fan but it is a bit noisy. The bed is very comfortable There are many breakfast options, worth purchasing
