Stay was made memorable with the service - their little touches go a long way; the design of the hotel - combines culture & experience; the room - well maintained & clean with thoughtful amenities. Glad I chose this hotel (besides the convenient location), is the best part of my trip!

Exceptional service, beautiful Modern ******* Style hotel and rooms! The moment we walked in to the hotel lobby, we were greeted by the amazing decor of the hotel. The lobby was also very pretty. Every staff always answer our questions sincerely and go the extra mile for every small request we made. They added us on wechat, provided us tips and responded promptly to all our requests during the trip. The room has floor heater and heater in bathroom. They provided hats, sunglasses in the room as the UV in Shangrila is very strong (not to be brought home) but we love it that they provided it for us. Fantastic location, right at the entrance of ancient city. 5 mins walk to 大金筒。 Comfy beds, sofa area with TV. Love it!! Will return for sure!

The hotel was beautiful in an excellent location in ShangriLa. The rooms were well appointed and had good heating. Breakfast was good, but note there is only one option available. Unfortunately, perhaps, because it was during the off season, it felt like we were staying in a closed hotel. The hotel had a beautiful bar with nobody working, a nice outdoor area with heat lamps that were never on, and the staff, while friendly, seemed a bit unprepared and surprised at our arrival. We requested help cleaning our laundry and ended up paying an extremely high 288 CNY after being quoted 100 CNY which felt dishonest. All of these problems would have been ok if we paid half of the $160 a night we paid, but at that price point in Yunnan, our expectations for service were high. Perhaps other guests will have better experiences when the property is properly staffed during the main season.

This is an amazing hotel in a fabulous location. The manager and staff make sure that all guests are comfortable and taken care of, and everyone went out of their way to help us make our way around the town. The rooms are very comfortable, and the ambiance of the whole place is authentic to the area.

A very special ******* homestay with a unique decoration style, right at the entrance of the ancient city. The location is very convenient. The hotel has thoughtful service, rich breakfast, and welcome afternoon tea. I will recommend friends to stay here

A hotel with ******* characteristics. Every step in the hotel is a scene, especially beautiful and photogenic. I had altitude sickness in the middle of the night and the lady at the front desk even gave me an oxygen tank. The service is excellent. I will stay here again next time I come to Shangri-La.

I checked in on New Year's Eve and felt full of enthusiasm. As soon as I entered the door, I was fascinated by the exquisite traditional ******* space, and then the handsome Tashi presented Hada. The whole experience felt like I had come to a family with very good service. The beautiful room was equipped with comfortable floor heating, which made people feel that they had come to a hotel. There were good night snacks and milk before going to bed. Because it was the New Year, I also experienced a bonfire party, drank rice wine cooked by the boss's wife, and set off fireworks together. I got up early the next day to experience a special ******* breakfast. I am very happy to have the opportunity to choose this special hotel. Bringing my parents to Shangri-La for vacation, of course I have to choose a hotel with ******* characteristics. I didn't expect this one to be a pleasant surprise. I booked 2 rooms and stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is located near the entrance of Dukezong Ancient City. The location is pretty good. Like many well-known hotels, they set up a butler group for me in advance. Any problems were handled in a timely manner. Overall, I am satisfied. I can recommend it..
