The view of the TLG from the room and balcony beside the Homestay is superb! As this homestay doesn’t provide meals, we walked to the next door restaurant for dinner & breakfast, it was delicious too. Everything is new in the room and we enjoyed it very much. One small suggestion, as it was cold at night we boiled hot water to drink but only plastic drinking cup was provided. It would be great to provide ceramic mugs for us. Otherwise everything else is great.

Awesome views, clean and modern

The best thing about this place is the sunset view which is the absolute best in the area. They also had modern amenities and the lady who was managing it was very helpful and gracious. I would recommend asking her to drive you up from the entrance to the village because otherwise it’s quite a steep hike. The room had some challenges with water on the floor, so I hope the owners fix this before it leads to future issues.

Based on the Jungdo Guesthouse, if you just look at the Godeok map and get directions, and walk, there will be a pavilion at the end of the road and stairs. If you climb that, you will reach the accommodation. The name of the accommodation is written in front of the stairs, so if you look for it, you can find it! Anyway, I had a hard time finding it, so I wrote it down for reference. The stairs that give you altitude sickness... If you can endure that one, it is a perfect accommodation. Clean, state-of-the-art facilities, and a great view! (Based on the large room with a large window) Jungdo Guesthouse is good, but if you have some stamina, I recommend it ㅋㅋ My parents really liked it. There is an electric blanket, coffee pot, and paper cups.

The view is wide, and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is opposite. On the first day, the kids were too tired to walk on the halfway, so the boss drove us to the inn. On the second day, he took us to a section of the road when we left. It took 20 minutes to reach Longdong Waterfall. There is air conditioning, electric blanket, and hot water in the room. The flowers in the yard are beautiful. I had breakfast at the boss's brother's restaurant and tried their ice cream. The view from the observation deck on the inn is very good and not crowded. It is suitable for lone rangers.

Of course, there are areas for improvement. It was very cold when we arrived. The boss said that it was unusually cold in those days. Even if the room was heated to the maximum, it was still cold. However, the boss quickly sent someone to deliver electric blankets and velvet. The quilt is still a little warm when I fall asleep. Also, there happened to be a problem with the water heater and the water temperature was not high enough, so the shower was too cold, but it was manageable. The location of the homestay is relatively high, and the view is really good, so walking up there is a bit of a cardio workout.

It's 10 minutes from Jungdo Guesthouse, but if you search on Godeok Map, it says 30 minutes. The 10-minute route is not on Godeok Map, but you can get there by taking the mountain path stairs from below the accommodation. It's hard to climb. Haha I was thinking of eating dinner at Jungdo Guesthouse, but I gave up after climbing the stairs and ate at a restaurant next to the accommodation. The restaurant next to the accommodation is close, but it's not delicious or good value for money. The view is amazing, and the heater wasn't as strong as I thought, so I slept relying on the electric blanket I rented in advance. By the way, you can't plug it into the round holes of Korean outlets. There's one in the bathroom, but it's a straight Chinese outlet. Bring a converter outlet~

The hotel has a restaurant. At night, walk up to the rooftop, the stars are very beautiful. The bed is soft, warm and comfortable. For the bathroom, if you sleep in room 207, bring a cloth to cover the window because people outside the room are quite high up and can see in from the top of the hill. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Halfway Cafe.
