We had the absolute pleasure of staying one night at LISIMAN 丽思漫丨心宿·穹庐四野供氧庄园（香格里拉店）, and honestly, words alone cannot do this place justice. Surrounded by majestic mountains, wide open grasslands, and freely roaming animals, the setting is nothing short of breathtaking. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff (unfortunately, we didn’t catch their names after our long journey). Their hospitality was genuine and thoughtful — they introduced the room facilities thoroughly and even took the time to check in on our travel plans, offering to arrange transport to Shangri-La Railway Station the next morning for our onward journey to Kunming. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and the panoramic view from our room was simply stunning — lush green grasslands dotted with horses and cows as far as the eye could see. There was even a charming little white pony on the premises that made our hearts melt — so cute and incredibly friendly. The hotel also provided laundry service and an inviting high-tea session. Breakfast the next morning was a delightful spread featuring hearty local dishes, a lovely way to end our short but memorable stay. If time had allowed, we would’ve stayed much longer. This place is a rare gem — serene, soulful, and truly rejuvenating. We will definitely return. Until then, our warmest thanks to the entire team for making our stay so special.

We love the big clean spacious room with nice view. The room is so big that we can fully open 2 big luggages and still have plenty of space. Located in the heart of the old city, with many shops and restaurants around. The bed is very comfortable, and they provided oxygen machine and humidifier, which are great for high-altitude stay. There is a sofa in the room, too. The operator is very friendly and helpful. He even woke up early to send us to the main road as it will be challenging to lug our luggages along the uneven ancient road. Will stay at this hotel again if we come back to Shangri-La. I had a truly memorable stay at this hotel, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff eventhough they can’t speak English but they tried their level best to communicate via wechat and translate.From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. What really stood out was how they helped arrange transportation for my trip to Lijiang and even coordinated my transfer for the Balagezong tour. On the day of my trip to Balagezong,the staff personally sent me to the nearest bus station by motorcycle to make sure I caught the right bus on time—something I never expected, but deeply appreciated. This level of care and attention made my journey smooth and stress-free. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and cozy, but it’s the warm and genuinely helpful service that made it special. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and elegantly designed with a perfect balance of modern and cozy elements. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the linens were of premium quality. The large windows provided a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape, making the stay even more enjoyable. The amenities were excellent, offering everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The hotel’s fitness center was well-equipped, the swimming pool was pristine, and the spa services were truly rejuvenating. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the in-room minibar had a well-curated selection of refreshments. The hotel is in a great location, right next to the ancient city, and a few minutes' walk to Moonlight Square. It has its own yard and is very quiet. The room is spacious, and the toilet is separated into wet and dry areas. The mattress is very comfortable. The boss is a handsome guy, very nice, and he took the initiative to contact you to ask if you need a pick-up service, and also introduced you to fun places.

This family owned hotel is located very close to the Ancient City of Du Ke Zong. It features a very stylish and modern design. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with dispersed oxygen supply. The owner, his wife, and their whole family warmly welcome every guest—helping us carry our luggage upstairs, assisting with car rentals, and recommending travel activities. They truly make guests feel at home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Shangri-La to stay at this guesthouse.

A perfect homestay. We arrived late at night on the day of our arrival, and the homestay arranged to pick us up. The staff were very warm and helpful, even bringing us hot milk in our room when we returned in the evening—extremely thoughtful. On the day of our departure, they also drove us to the train station. The price was very reasonable as well.

It was my first time to Shangri-La. After much choice, I chose this one with my wife. What attracted me was the location and smart appliances. I saw on Xiaohongshu that the ancient city would be very congested during holidays, and parking was very inconvenient and expensive. I called the owner before coming and he said that I could park in front of the store! I also have to say that their service attitude is really very good. The two guys in the store are very responsible. If I have any questions, I can solve them by just saying it on the phone. And the smart appliances are so convenient. I can control many things with just my mouth. Next time, my wife and I will book a room on the fourth floor to try it out. I found the scenery beautiful when I washed clothes on the fourth floor in the morning. PS: They also have washing machines and dryers. It's so convenient! I'll come again next time

The place was a few hundred meters from the old town. The 民宿 owners were extremely hospitable and friendly. First they came to pick us up from the station, upon arrival, as our room was on the 3rd floor, they carried our luggage all the way up for us. The room was spacious, clean and all amenities provided for. The room came with oxygen supply, heated floor and sky roof where we could glance out to see the stars. They advised us on all the do and don't when in high altitude places. When we came back freezing cold at night, they even brought up hot milk to help warm us up. Overall, we had a very good stay here. We would stay here again if we ever come back to Shangri-la.

This hotel in Shangri La truly felt like home! You can tell the owner puts his heart into the place, and it makes all the difference. We stayed for three nights, but honestly, it wasn’t enough. we loved everything about it, especially all the cool tech features. The owner was incredibly kind and even upgraded us to what seemed like the biggest room. The heated bed and floors were a dream, keeping us warm and comfortable, and we could even dry our clothes on them! They also have a free washing machine, which was such a lifesaver. And the breakfast? *So good!* The milk tea was amazing, and there was this soup (I wish I knew the name) that I still think about—it was *that* good. On top of that, the service was next level. The owner personally picked us up from the train station—in a *BMW*, no less! He was beyond thoughtful, even helping us book a trip to Balagezong. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, but I’ve never met an owner who goes this far out of his way to make guests feel welcome. If you’re visiting Shangri-La, I can’t recommend this place enough. For the level of service and hospitality you get, the price is more than worth it. You *will not* regret staying here! It just walking distance to all the eateries and the prayer wheel!
