Travelled with my parents (two seniors). The entrance to the hotel is at a small street at 凤祥楼. Hotel location is just right next to Yuu Garden (BARELY 1 min walk), and ~ 5min walk from Yu Garden Metro station. The hotel is very accessible to the attractions like Yuu Garden, Shanghai City God temple and Yu Yuan Bazaar. There are also wide range of local food (羊肉串, Xiao Long Bao, Sheng Jian Bao, Cong You Bing etc) and even Macdonald. My parents really enjoyed the close proximity to Yuu Garden and Yu Yuan Bazaar. One can feel the night bustling life outside the hotel as YuYuan old street comes to life as the night falls. Do note that the streets are off limits for 4-wheel vehicles, and Didi / Taxi drivers will drop u slightly away. The service crew are very warm and friendly. Do ask them for access to level 5 for some photo taking too. Overall, a very enjoyable stay. The front desk and service crew team are also very friendly, with great service attitude. In the hotel, there are also free washing machine and dryer for those travelling with families. One will definitely feel the hospitality of the crew and enjoy the location.
