Our stay at this hotel was a delightful experience. It's conveniently located for travelers coming from central Shanghai to visit Zhu Jia Jiao, with easy access to the metro. The hotel, though slightly aged, retains its charm. The presence of a swimming pool suggests it would be an excellent summer retreat. The lobby was a highlight for us. We spent enjoyable hours there playing board games and eating. However, guests with cat allergies should be cautious, as a cat freely roams the area, which triggered my allergies. On the downside, the cleanliness in the bathroom could be improved, and the breakfast was quite basic, offering just eggs and salad. Perhaps in the summer, with more guests, they might expand their breakfast menu.

The name of the inn is what attracted me to book a room. The interior decoration of the inn is very literary and Zen-like. The landlord is an elegant beauty, very friendly and has good service. The location of the inn is right at the entrance of the scenic spot and close to the bus station, which is very convenient I will stay here again if I have the chance. It is an ancient scenic town that Zhujiajiao likes very much.

One of the best places in our lives (and we have visited more than 50 countries). An excellent house in the very center of Shanghai Venice, but which at the same time allows you to feel secluded among the bustle. Thank you very much to the owner - very clean, friendly, greeted and escorted to a taxi. no hotel sign board.. have to walk through the garden. . hotel should have service to pick up foreigner right at metro station. for registration I suggest then to print English form as I cannot understand Chinese word. but I astonish and good memory of their decoration atmosphere way.

During my visit to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, I stayed at the Manyu Homestay, which was a great experience! The location of the homestay is excellent. It is located in the ancient town, and the ancient streets and alleys are just outside the door, which is very convenient for sightseeing. The room is warm and comfortable, clean and tidy, and the bedding is soft, which makes people sleep well all night. The boss and staff are warm and thoughtful, and the service is considerate, making people feel at home. Here, you can feel the tranquility and simplicity of the ancient town, and enjoy a comfortable accommodation environment and high-quality service. Highly recommended to friends who come to Zhujiajiao Ancient Town!

My husband and I had an AMAZING time at Village Stay. The accommodation is located in a very quaint village surrounded by beautiful nature to go for a walk, bike or boat ride. The design of the place is very nicely done, both indoor and outdoor. The food is out of this world: best Shanghai fare we have had and very healthy. The coffee they serve is also of excellent quality. There is a lovely pool to be enjoyed and apart from that, the room contains everything you could wish for when staying at a hotel. The owners and other staff is very helpful and above all, very friendly. I 100% recommend this hotel to others and can hopefully come back in the future. The best thing of all is that it is located in Shanghai but that it feels that you’re very far from the busy city life!

The room is big and the facilities are relatively new. There is still a bit of smell when the cabinet door is opened, and there are carbon buns. The breakfast is a bit too simple, so it is better to cancel it. The buns will not taste good if they are a little cold. The location of the hotel is good. I chose this hotel after reading other people's reviews that it is quiet in a busy city. It was not like this when I came. I heard the sound of electric saws near the room in the afternoon of the first day, and there was a pile of construction waste outside the window. I felt it was not good. I heard the sound of battery trucks transporting garbage in the middle of the night. The construction started before 8 o'clock on the second and third mornings, including but not limited to electric saws, pneumatic nail guns, hammers, dragging steel bars, flatbed trucks... If the construction time cannot be coordinated, should the affected rooms not be sold?

The owner's care can be felt from the layout and decoration design. There is a super large lakeside terrace outside the room with a great view. You can sit and read a book and be in a daze, and relax and be free. The children climb up and down in the room, and have their own fun. It is safe. Unlike other parent-child rooms, this is really like installing a big paradise in the room. And most importantly, there are no other naughty children. The safety is also in place, and it is really reassuring. My wife is particularly concerned about safety. The bed in the hotel is always afraid that the child will fall off. This upstairs is similar to tatami, and there is no fall. We are very relieved, and the children fall asleep beautifully with the starry sky. The floor is very high, the air conditioner is below, and there is a ceiling fan on the top. It is a little hot upstairs, but it also eliminates the worry that the child will kick the quilt and blow the air conditioner and get cold. The fried dumplings made by the boss for breakfast the next morning are also a must. Usually I chase them to feed them, but today I chased them and asked for two more. There is also a newly developed small yard next to the large yard on the first floor. The children catch chickens and dig vegetables. The boss said that they can dig eggplants and take them home to eat. It's really green. But we don't know how to cook, so we didn't dig them back. The boss is friendly and like a friend, and he also planned a cycling route for us. Treasure homestay. My wife said she must come again next time.

Went with 6 kids between 5 and 12, and they loved it, the outside pool and beach area playground and the Indoor Playground. All the other things they offered we did not try, pool and Indoor Playground was enough. I personally thought for that price, the outside pool sunchairs and chairs could be more and cleaner and not old and therefore broken. The cleanliness overall of the Hotel was ok. The service was overall good and fast, but not really friendly, neither unfriendly. The Indoor Playground for 50 yuan was worth the money, the kids could spend hours in there, whereas I thought it was small and boring! Overall, I would book again for a few days with the kids! I would avoid the weekend though, toooooo many people!

Behind the door is a laneway, which is similar to a utility room. It is used to store various sundries. The width of the laneway is less than 1 meter, but it is very long. Parallel to the direction of the bed in the room, leading in turn to connect each room. 2. The bathroom is custom-made with a whole cabinet, and the material of the washbasin has already fallen off. The overall hygiene is average, all kinds of toiletries are relatively complete, and the shower in the toilet is relatively powerful. The service attitude of the front desk staff is more accommodating and friendly. PS: The biggest problem: the room cannot be properly soundproofed. (The wall panels in the toilet itself are not soundproof, and the windows are common to alleyways. The wall behind the bed is a partition wall, which leads to poor sound insulation. You can hear the conversation in the next room clearly, and the wall will vibrate together when the door is closed. Can't sleep. )
