Hotels near Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, Shanghai

I recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Heyitang Hotel Shanghai International Tourism Resort in January 2025 and found it to be a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located and near a metro station, offering easy access to various attractions and amenities. I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to hotel attendants Snow, Zach, and Miona for their exceptional service and helpfulness throughout our stay. Their friendliness and attention to detail made our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I recommend Heyitang Hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Shanghai International Tourism Resort.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Yun He Ye Bo Hotel (Shanghai Pudong International Airport) and highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Shanghai Disneyland. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to Disneyland, the metro station, and Pudong Airport. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, with special thanks to Ms. Li Liping, Auntie Zhang Dehua (who kindly assisted with free laundry service), and Ms. Zhu Shuqun (our housekeeper). Thank you for making our stay so pleasant! Do note, however, that the hotel is located quite far from the city center.

A very positive experience, I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone who needs hotel stays near Pudong airport. This hotel has an outdoor backyard, which is a huge bonus for us traveling with a 4-year-old. I could easily move our 2 beds together to make it a huge bed, to make it extra comfy for myself and my son. All staff, from front desk, to dining room, to room services, were very friendly and responsive. Oh, talking about breakfast, yummy food with a wide variety of options. I also love the shower head lol. Makes it easy to shower my 4yo son. You’ll know what I’m talking about once you tried it out. Though this hotel is very busy with lots of guests come and go, we felt seen. They also have free laundry room and gym on site. Another star.

The hotel is about 10mins by car from the Disney station. the hotel has about 50 rooms with different themes. we book 3 family rooms, 2 sunset theme and one room with slide.. we forgot to take photo of the rooms but the environment was very nice and pleasant. the hotel provides shuttle service to and fro disneyland at specific timings, add their wechat acct to make bookings and get timing informations. the hotel provides food service too and was very delicious.. we had 2 dinners at the hotel restaurant.. but not exactly a restaurant more like a home cooked food by one aunty. ordered thru the wechat app and can just time them wat time we want the meals to be served.. thumbs up.. really good service too.. the kids had fun with tue cats and dog and pony in the premise. will definately come back again to stay if we travel to shanghai again.

Hotel is cheap and you get the service for the money. Used during night layover and it was ok, had free transfer from airport and back. I didn’t expect and it served the purpose. If you want to go to the city better to book hotel on the maglev or metro way, from this hotel to city center i’ve paid 100cny with didi, so better to pay a bit more and be on the metro line station way. Generally good to have a quick nap not far from airport

This is my second time in that hotel, last time was good, so I chose it again... And it was quite disappointed. I mean, it's still very clean and convenient (yes, a little bit old, but price is okay), but this time air conditioner in my room didn't work at all! When I asked a reception about it, girl just called security for me, there was no apology, nothing, it was very unfriendly. Then the security came to my room, and just said that the air conditioner was working. I showed to him a lot of times that I have been in the hotel for 2 hours and the room is still hot, and the air conditioner gives an error on the screen. But he insisted that everything was working. You can see the photos. As a result, he left immediately, and the air conditioner just made loud noises all night, but did not cool at all. I was too tired to go to talk with reception at night. So it was definitely a terrible experience. I am very disappointed in the service

Summarize in short : they should keep this place only for Chinese speaker, not recommend for traveller with other languages. Base from my true experiences, I booked here the night before traveling to Shanghai. Once I check out from hotel in Guangzhou, front desk lady help me called reception at Shanghai Novotel Hotel Chuansha to ask if they can pick me and my partner at Pudong Airport as they advertised for a complimentary shuttle bus. The lady at Novotel cannot speak English so I passed to the front desk lady in Guangzhou and got to know that I have to book a shuttle bus a day ahead. I accepted this because I read info, just have hope if they could help customer with this, anyway I flew to Shanghai and went hotel by myself. On the way to Shanghai, I still have hope that receptionist at NOVOTEL will be able to speak English. When I arrived there, I met 3 receptionists and NONE OF THEM CAN SPEAK ENGLISH. We had a tough time to communicate. I have my own language and English, also broken Chinese but we still not understand each other. I had to call a friend of mine in Taiwan to speak Chinese to them. Again, I wanted to book a shuttle bus to Disney land for the next day and they ask me to have a Wechat app to see a detail and communicate. Since I do not have China mainland mobile number so I cannot make a Wechat work on my phone. My ********* friend still help me out with this. At that time, another lady came, seem like she work for shuttle bus thing. I do understand that Chinese tone of voice always loud but I cannot see mercy on her face. She consisted that we still need a Wechat. One lady there said, I have to take a taxi without Wechat even though the hotel provided us a free shuttle bus to Disneyland. At this point I a little upset as there is no choice that they can call or set me a time for my travel, _ucking asked me to take a taxi. I do not mind to pay for taxi but we have never been here so we worry about other unexpected factor could happen. Further more, I went there on my girlfriend birthday to celebrate her birthday. I decided to take it here a last minute and I asked if they could have a card written Happy Birthday to her. Only I know is ”NO CARD, NO CARD!!!! bad service mind ever, disappointed and felt give up with Novotel Yes, I picked NOVOTEL because I really hope they provided international services. I was a member of ACCOR PLUS and experienced such good services but since I experienced here, I am a failure. I actually have 2 more nights in Shanghai after 2nights here. I was thinking to move out all the time because me and my partner felt suffocate with a service. I do not talk to them anymore as it is useless T___T I even tried with my broken Chinese but I cannot feel that they put an effort to serve their guesses. No bellboy, air-conditioning at public area is pretty warm. To be honest, the place is good, bed is comfy and we tired from playing things in Disney land park so I extended to book for one more night then I do not need to rush for checking out. I went reception floor, this time a girl with glasses, seem kind and she is fluent in English help me check in for my last night here :) Whole time staying here I kept my mouse shut because don't want to feel unpleasant anymore and I feel like the robot that delivery food downstairs is working better than human lol. Eventually, I did tried until I can log into Wechat to found that the text were written in Chinese only. I still can travel with a hotel shuttle bus even I do not read thing on Wechat (我看不懂) 😔 I definitely won't be back here even things are good. Hotel is providing everything we needed which is good but they should hire people who able to speak English or people who able to use translate on google and else to communicate as they open for the whole world guess. Not only Chinese on earth but also another language exists. Last thing, key of hospitality is ”SERVICE MIND”

I booked this hotel on the spot when there was a typhoon and my flight to another city got cancelled. I chose this hotel as it's near Pudong airport and Shanghai Disneyland (hoping I was able to go to, but due to bad weather it was closed). The room is spacious but has no windows. There's a mall nearby, KFC, convenience store, Starbucks, and some restaurants. The Free shuttle bus to the airport is very convenient. 🙂

This hotel is much beyond our expectation for this price. The room is big and clean. Washing machine and hanger are in the room. Air condition can become heater too. Projector is huge but all movie must be paid. Windows can be opened. The hotel in in the same building as Wanda Plaza which is ver convenient for everything. The street food is also at the back of hotel. You can find anything in the market. Traveling From airport to hotel is super easy. Didi will drop you in from of the hotel and you just walk to the corner of Wanda plaza. Suju hotel is labeled at the door in english. Its super closed to Zhoupu station exit 2. That is awesome. The path in the building may be dirty but the room is clean. I dont like only one thing that I can smell smoke in the room during the night. That hurt my nose.

It's super good, the health service is very clean, and the front desk service staff is very warm and thoughtful.The facilities are also very clean and hygienic, including the decoration of the hotel lobby.There are free shuttle buses from Disney and subway stations. The timing is super reasonable, and it is very convenient to eat around, including the decoration of the hall, which is also very personal and very popular.The toiletries in the room, including dental appliances, are really needless to say, and the preparations are very complete, very sufficient and very satisfactory.There is no need to talk about the environment, and the surrounding area is very lively. It is very convenient for little shanghai Pedestrian Street and wanda plaza to eat around, and they also gave us a gift bag when we checked out.It was also sent to the Zhou Pu subway station and arranged for the driver to send it to us. It was really super thoughtful and super satisfied.
