JI Hotel Hotels in Shanghai

Clean room with daily housekeeping. No doubt is a non-smoking hotel, there's guests continued to smoke within the hotel premises even though ”no smoking” notices are placed. The management may want to look into this. Breakfast was average. Allowed to take away for those in a hurry.

Very pleasant stay at your hotel. The location was great, it takes about 10 mins to city walk to Nanjing road, Bund view point and not far from subway. Check in staff very helpful. Room is not that big but enough space for two people with small luggage, nice pillows, traditional tea set, eyes mark. Recommend. 👍

Quite hard to communicate with the receptionist and staff at the hotel, but some of them were really nice. Hotel room was small but clean, they change our towel every day. Breakfast is the same menu for almost everyday, but enough spread from rice, noodles, wonton, bread, coffee. Location very convenient, near east nanjing road metro station. Close to the bund.

Modern and very clean. Service immaculate; can not fault. Only suggestion for improvement would be changing the shower tap style. In order to get hot water you must turn on the tap starting from cold . This is inconvenient when you are standing naked under the shower. Especially so when it also takes a while before the water becomes hot. Otherwise, for us, it was the perfect stay.

When arrive to Shanghai, we take Taxi to the hotel, the Taxi driver drop us somewhere, first arrive really hard to get to the hotel main entrance. And there is a lot Ji Hotel nearby. Near to 南京路步行街 with walking distance. Room not bad, can open up the luggage as well. You can order **, the Robot will send to your room. I like their lobby area, essential oil atmosphere, make us feel comfortable and relax.

Location: Superb. Just a 2min walk from Nanjing East MRT station and Pop Mart. We chose this hotel as we needed a short walking distance to MRT to get to Pudong Airport. Traffic can be quite bad so we didn’t want to get stuck taking a cab. Service: very fast and efficient. In wee hours 12am+, I had a few requests - asking for cotton buds, to help me with a new room key card, etc. I was served really quickly. There was only 1 staff at reception but she was capable and I didn’t have to wait long at all. Self service laundry was good! It has 2 sets of washers and dryers and also provide free detergent. Dryer was strong to dry all our clothes well! Bedroom: Clean and neat. We had twin single beds and were fine as our children are quite young to share beds with us. Comfortable stay. They have special teapot set which occupies our children in making tea for us. Staff: Honest with integrity. I left my earrings in the room and checked out. Thought they will be lost but I returned to the hotel and staff managed to find and give them back to me. Thank you so much! Breakfast: Simple local food (can do without or go opposite for MacDonald breakfast). Quick fix was ok for us as we needed time to pack our luggage and heading home. Overall, a great stay experience and we will return. Convenience + super clean room = 👍👍 A suggestion will be to allow guests to control the aircon. Even the weather is cold, we prefer to have our room cold instead of warm. The system was centralised and it didn’t allow us to change it. We felt abit hot when at night.

big and comfortable room but the placement of the toilet is a bit odd. Room is soo far from the lift and feels like a maze to reach it. There's laundry room with washing machine and steam iron for public use. Coffee machine and luggage storage is free at the lobby. However, th lobby smells weird. Don't know it's the ventilation or it's the air freshener scent they used. Gagged everytime i get into the lobby. Public transport (metro and bus) is walkable with big luggages. Overall, satisfied with the stay

The location is great, the room was very big, but although i booked the room for the view ( as far as i could understand from the booking site, this was it) when we got to the hotel the staff asked us to pay extra for a room with a view of the Pearl Tower, but this room was a lot smaller so we chose the room without a view of the Pearl Tower. We could check in early, because the official hour is 16.00. Breakfast is good, western and asian options.

Clean rooms, but lift is a bit stinky. The location is nice, except for the bars downstairs that do create some ambient noise at night. I'm a deep sleeper so it wasn't a problem. Staff was friendly and helpful. Mini fridge in room would have been super helpful.

We booked a family room for 3 adults. The room is slightly small for 3 adults but I think it fits perfectly well for 2 adults. Other than that, the hotel is clean and tidy. The only issue is a bit of distance to the subway stations, there are couple of station around the hotel. My friend and I we mostly cycling to the subway station.
