This stay was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was embraced by a warm and bright atmosphere. The front desk staff were incredibly nice, handling check-in efficiently and patiently. They even thoughtfully provided local sightseeing tips and detailed information about hotel facilities. The room was impeccably clean and tidy, the bedding soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a restful night's sleep until morning. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of fresh ingredients, with both Chinese and Western dishes exquisitely prepared. Even the small desserts were both visually appealing and delicious. The hotel's location is also superb, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and shopping. Whether for a business trip or a vacation, this place is my top choice. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

An incredibly delightful trip! First and foremost, a massive thank you to Manager Claire for arranging such a perfect room and the surprise decorations ❤️ It was absolutely flawless! The staff were all exceptionally nice and showed great empathy. The housekeeping auntie cleaned very diligently; everything from the tables to the bathtub in the bathroom was meticulously spotless. The evening happy hour was also good, offering hot dishes, fruits, desserts, appetizers, and drinks. Although I only stayed for one night, it was truly excellent. Highly recommended!

With school starting soon, we decided to have a staycation in Shanghai and stumbled upon this hotel, which offered a really great value package. The buffet dinner featured several flavors of crayfish, which, though a bit small, were very tasty. We also thoroughly enjoyed the salmon. The breakfast spread was also very rich, featuring some local Shanghai specialties like *shengjian* (pan-fried buns) and *doufuhua* (tofu pudding). With three coffee machines, there was practically no queue. We visited the swimming pool in the evening, which also had a sauna room. The soundproofing in the room was decent, and the hotel staff were very friendly. The pink art installation in the lobby was also quite charming. It's conveniently located next to a shopping mall and the Baolong Art Museum, with the Minhang Museum also within walking distance. Overall, it offers excellent value for money.

Kiki and Sophia took the initiative to help with my luggage, greeting me with smiles while processing check-in efficiently. When I asked about local itineraries and off-the-beaten-path spots, Angell answered patiently and in detail, even sharing thoughtful tips to avoid pitfalls—friendly yet highly professional. The hotel facilities exceeded all expectations! The room was spacious and bright, with bedding as soft as wrapping myself in a cloud, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The bathroom featured a practical dry-wet separation design, clean and tidy, with high-quality bathroom amenities. Thoughtful details like a vanity mirror and hair dryer were all readily available. The biggest highlight was the smart room controls—one touch to adjust the lights and curtains, blending cutting-edge technology with a cozy atmosphere for an extremely comfortable stay. Hygiene was impeccable! Every corner of the room was spotless, with no dust on the floors or surfaces. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and even easily overlooked areas like under the bed and sofa crevices were meticulously cleaned, allowing me to stay with complete peace of mind. The dining experience was a delightful surprise for my taste buds! The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes—fresh fruits, made-to-order pastries, and aromatic coffee, all using fresh ingredients with authentic flavors. The dinner buffet was equally impressive, featuring a dazzling array of seafood, hot dishes, and desserts, each exquisitely prepared and delicious, offering exceptional value for money. From service, facilities, and hygiene to dining, Hilton excelled in every aspect, making this journey even more wonderful. I’ll definitely choose Hilton again for my next trip and highly recommend it to all my friends!

I was so tired from my business trip that I went to Meilv Tianyuan for a spa treatment. They mentioned that staying here would be convenient since it's connected to a commercial area; I could just walk from dinner on the second floor directly to check-in. However, check-in is on the first floor. The lobby is quite grand because it's so spacious. The staff seemed a bit haughty and mixed up my reservation, thinking I had no breakfast when I did. But it didn't really affect the overall check-in experience. Breakfast was just okay, I guess.

For the price it was good. Location is convenient for travelers going to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport or train station. Its pretty far from city center. There is complementary laundry machines including dryers! This is perhaps the most oddly laid out hotel room I've ever seen. I truly wonder what this building used to be before it was made into a hotel. I booked a room with no windows but got a surprise upgrade to a room with windows. It looks like it used to be a small apartment but several amenities have been removed. Theres a hookup for a washing machine and refrigerator. The upstairs had a bathroom and queen bed, and the downstairs had a WC, kitchen sink, couch, and a full bed. Theres significant wear and tear, and the rooms could use a detailed cleaning. Overall I wouldn't mind staying there again but I'd bring my own stuff to clean.

The hotel is located in a bustling downtown area, making shopping, dining, and entertainment easily accessible. It provides a home-like experience for travelers, with fully equipped rooms that are tastefully decorated, fresh, clean, and tidy. The front desk staff, particularly Xiu Xiu, offers high-quality service. The breakfast variety is rich, and the hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from the subway station. Additionally, there is free parking available. Overall, it offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

During my recent stay at Chateau Star River Hotel, I found the facilities to be excellent and the interior decor tastefully designed, creating a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, contributing to an overall pleasant physical environment. However, the service quality did not match the standard expected from such a well-appointed hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk staff mistakenly assigned me a children’s room, which required me to return to reception and resolve the issue—a rather inconvenient start to my stay. While the room I was eventually given was comfortable and spacious, cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathtub, in particular, had two dead flies and a hardened stain on its surface, which was quite disappointing. I did encounter staff members who demonstrated professionalism—for example, the gentleman managing the breakfast check-in was courteous and efficient. Nonetheless, such instances were the exception rather than the rule. On one occasion, I decided to book a massage at the hotel spa to relieve some back pain. The treatment, which cost approximately $50, was average and initially unproblematic. Unfortunately, at the end of the session, the masseuse offered me an additional service, the nature of which I will refrain from describing here, but I trust it is not difficult to imagine. I declined immediately. Regardless of the hotel's level of control over this matter, given that the spa operates within the premises, I found this situation deeply inappropriate and upsetting.

This apart-hotel offers great value for money. It's clean, quiet, and the service is excellent. The facilities are comprehensive, and they even have free 24-hour freshly ground coffee ☕ and afternoon tea. My only complaint is that the dining area has bar-style tables, which are quite uncomfortable to sit at 😩. I hope they'll have traditional dining tables next time – that would make it perfect! 😄😄😄😄 Also, a shoutout to the hardworking delivery robot! 🤖

This hotel is incredibly close to Shanghai's Koreatown, just a 10-minute walk away, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. The rooms are spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable. What really stands out is the incredible value for money. The prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent and budget-friendly option in the area. The front desk staff were also warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any questions. If you're planning to explore Koreatown's food scene, this hotel is definitely the right choice. Highly recommended!
