The name Guisu Homestay truly lives up to its reputation! Nestled in the Wutong tree-lined streets of Yueyang Road, the location is superb, offering a fantastic atmosphere for leisurely strolls. The interior is clean and refreshing, and the environment is quiet and elegant. The butler service is attentive, with smooth communication throughout our stay. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling city, allowing us to fully experience the charm of old Shanghai. Our stay was absolutely perfect, highly recommended!

This is our second time staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Tibet Hotel for my child's college entrance exam. It's perfectly located right next to Xuhui Middle School, the examination site, and we also stayed here for the spring exam earlier this year. The hotel is incredibly thoughtful: they had 'Zhuangyuan' (top scholar) door couplets, 'dingsheng gao' (a traditional pastry symbolizing success), and oranges... so much attention to detail and a real sense of occasion. My child got into an early admission program for college, so the Courtyard by Marriott Tibet Hotel truly is a lucky place! 👍👍

Book now! After living in Shanghai for close to 6 years, returning was made all the better for staying in my local neighbourhood. The location of this property is genuinely unbeatable. You’re a cycle or walk to some of the best areas in Shanghai FCC and it is ideal for those looking for a chilled break, some good food and great shopping. The team were great to communicate with, especially if you have WeChat. Thank you for answering all my questions in a timely manner and in the kindest way. Friendly, helpful and genuinely nice people to connect with. I loved it so much I’m extending my stay at one of their other properties on Julu Lu which is within walking distance. Great location, great price, local experience. Don’t hesitate 😁

Location: Very close to the West Bund Grand Theatre. I stayed here to watch the play 'Prima Facie', and there was even a tie-in event where I could check in and get a complimentary themed coffee. It was a lovely experience! Service: The service was excellent, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. They provided all the services I requested, and even lent me two umbrellas after I had already checked out the next day. Facilities: It seems to be a relatively new hotel, as the facilities are very modern. I had a pleasant stay.

The room was just okay, pretty similar to a Ji Hotel. But that's not the main point. The main issue happened the night before when I checked in. It was raining outside, and I asked a male staff member to help me load my luggage from my car at the roadside using a luggage cart. While he was loading it, the cart slowly slid due to the slope outside the lobby entrance and almost hit my car. Afterward, I felt the male front desk staff's attitude during check-in wasn't very good; it just felt off. I'm giving this one star for the female staff member who later helped deliver the luggage cart; her attitude was noticeably much better. It's strange why a male staff member couldn't do this job and why his attitude was so cold. My car almost got hit, and I didn't even ask for compensation, just kindly reminded him that next time he should be careful with the luggage cart on that slope. Overall, the experience was just average. The attached photo is my backpack, which fell directly into the water after the luggage cart tipped over that day. The male staff member didn't even apologize. It was the female staff member who helped wipe it, but it's still dirty even after a few days.

This hotel is in a great location in Xuhui District, making it convenient for getting around and dining. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and it was generally quiet. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Given its location, it offers good value for money. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel, and I would recommend it.

Just the other day I was saying I wanted to stay here longer to get a better feel for the place, and wouldn't you know it, the opportunity arose, haha. Something came up at work, and since I'd stayed here before, found it decent, and it's close to my office, I figured it was the safest bet. This time I stayed for four nights. They have a VIP building and a regular building; the VIP one is right next door. I even went to the VIP building once because the delivery driver got my order wrong. Because the hotel is in the central Hengfu area and it was summer vacation, there were many domestic and international tourists. However, the front desk ladies were very quick with check-ins, so there wasn't a long queue at the counter. Right next to the front desk is Shanghai Dim Sum, where you can have lunch. I saw that they offer many old Shanghai specialty snacks, and lots of locals come to eat there; business is booming! I'd recommend it to friends visiting Shanghai. The front desk mentioned that breakfast is on the fourth floor, but since my package didn't include breakfast this time, I didn't try it. I'll make sure to next time. Even though the room type I got this time was the same special king room as last time, I think it's a great room. The wardrobe, when closed, can be used to store shoes, or bags and coats, essentially creating a partition from the living area. I personally think this is more hygienic (see the last picture for details). I saw the bellhop working hard every day in the scorching heat, opening and closing car doors for guests, helping with luggage, and directing delivery drivers to put food in the lockers. He's really dedicated. As for downsides, when I asked one of the front desk staff about afternoon tea, he looked completely clueless and didn't know anything about it. Also, it would be good to have another air conditioning vent in the room, perhaps near the TV. I'm not particularly bothered by heat, so sitting at the desk didn't feel hot to me. But if a guest is sensitive to heat, they might find it unbearable, especially on hot days like these. Otherwise, there weren't any major issues. I visited the gazebo last time but didn't this time. I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

It's truly one-of-a-kind, and its location is superb, with the entire street lined with charming cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself offers a lovely afternoon tea that's quite delicious. The breakfast provided is also fantastic! 😎 The room facilities are complete and comfortable, with a light luxury and cozy feel.

I've stayed here several times, and overall it's pretty good. This time, I want to talk about some specific details: 1. **Smart Home System**: While the overall control is good, some details are a bit 'awkward.' For example, the lighting only has mode control; you can't control individual lights, which can be inconvenient sometimes. 2. **Natural Lighting**: Due to the floor level, the room's natural light is a bit insufficient. Combined with the dark interior decor, the room feels a bit dim and gloomy. 3. **Central Air Conditioning**: The central AC only has single-mode heating or cooling. On days with fluctuating temperatures like recently, the room can feel quite cold, requiring two duvets. 4. **Apartment Style Service**: Although the front desk responds quickly, the floor service staff are understaffed, including the robots, leading to them being overwhelmed at times.
