Shanghai Xuhui District Hotels

Stayed here for two days. The location is very close to South Shaanxi Road, offering an authentic experience of an old Shanghai lane house. The room was very clean, with every nook and cranny tidied up, and the towels felt and smelled fresh from the dryer. The check-in process was simple, and any questions were quickly answered by the staff. Overall, I was very satisfied.

The room facilities are great! The environment is beautiful! The breakfast buffet was fantastic! We booked a family room and also had complimentary access to the executive lounge, which made our stay very enjoyable. The service was excellent! The location is great, with many shopping streets nearby.

We particularly loved the location (walking distance to bars, cafes and restaurants but in a quiet and beautiful quarter), the well equipped bathroom and that it was overall very clean. We stayed in the apartment for 6 people, it’s spacious and the beds are big enough for sharing if one is comfortable to sleep with a friend. Host very responsive and helpful. Would definitely come again :) PS: there is a cleaning fee for dogs that is not communicated in the English version app before booking, only after. At least we didn’t see it.

Every time I go to the West Bund for a show, I stay at Atour. It's clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The only issue this time was that the glass door of the bathroom in my room didn't close properly, which was a bit inconvenient since I was staying with a friend. The front desk was very efficient and even gave me a complimentary breakfast. Everything is smart-controlled; if you need anything, you just order it via XiaoDu. Overall, it's pretty good.

Facilities: The facilities are very clean, and the color scheme and textures are excellent. If any hotel decor makes me feel at home, this one definitely does it best. Cleanliness: The hygiene here is impeccable. Any requests can be made to the front desk, and they will be delivered right to your room door, which is very thoughtful. Service: The service is warm and attentive, making for a great experience. My favorite part was actually the breakfast, hahaha! This tomato and scrambled egg noodles dish was incredibly delicious, my Chinese palate was extremely satisfied, my friends. Also, the hand soap smells really good, I love it!!

I booked this hotel early through Ctrip for a family trip. Since we needed to fly back to Shenzhen from Hongqiao Airport on the 26th and also wanted to visit Shanghai Jiao Tong University, I chose the Jinglai Hotel. It's super convenient for exploring nearby attractions like the Xujiahui Cathedral, Xujiahui Library, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and thoughtfully provided us with kids' slippers and toothbrushes, which was a lovely touch. The hotel also offers laundry and drying facilities, which really helped us catch up on our accumulated laundry. Plus, they have a great variety of breakfast options. Overall, our stay was cozy, the location was convenient, and the beds were comfortable.

The hotel's location and surroundings are quite good. It has its own garden, and right across from the VIP building exit are Wanping Park and Xujiahui Greenbelt. The room facilities are comprehensive, and breakfast is decent. The staff's service attitude is also very good. However, there are a few things I'd like to complain about: 1. **Parking:** There's no direct access between the parking lot and the hotel. You have to walk down stairs and then across a section of ground. Some areas in the parking lot had an unpleasant smell. I was told I could contact the front desk for a shuttle, but if it's too early (around 6 AM), there's no one available to drive. So, I had to walk to the parking lot in the pouring rain. 2. **USB Ports:** There were no USB ports on the room walls. When I asked the front desk, they said it was because the hotel was older and simply didn't have them. However, I coincidentally found a multi-functional power strip with several USB ports in the desk drawer. Clearly, the staff wasn't aware of this. 3. **Coffee Incident:** While drinking coffee at the lobby bar downstairs in the VIP building, I later found a several-centimeter-long thin plastic strip in my drink. The young ladies there were stumped and couldn't explain how it happened. Overall, the hotel is good, but further training for the staff is definitely needed.

Had the perfect stay at this gorgeous hidden gem hotel!! The decor, the service, the rooms, the small details - all made a difference. It was my partners birthday and they bought us a whole cake with candles and everything!! Hospitality was on top level. The location was perfect as we could walk everywhere and there are so many trendy spots around us. Would come back for sure.

The room was clean and comfortable, though the air conditioning was a bit temperamental, going from hot to cold. Overall, the comfort level was acceptable. The first room I stayed in had a noticeable electrical humming noise, and the night light wouldn't turn off. If I were really tired, I could have managed, but I ended up requesting a room change. On the other hand, breakfast and the convenience of the surrounding area were both really good.
