Great central location walkable to the bund, Nanjing pedestrian street and nearby city attractions!
Front of house team were attentive albeit less responsive through WeChat would be my only criticism.

Location is in the city center near the shopping belt, walking distance to the metro and free laundry service.. maintenance of the facilities can be improved as we experienced some hiccups during the stay but was provided us with a change of room to resolves it.

I do NOT recommend this hotel; do not come if you are disabled, old or in a wheelchair. I came with my aunt and a lot of the rooms are not accessible by elevator. I calculated and one you enter downstairs, it took me 4 minutes walking to get into the room which is huge compared to other hotels. The little bench in the entry was stained. There are some holes in the walls. The room doesn't look like the pictures at all!! And it's pretty dark even when all lights are on. There is a glass window between the shower and the bed, which made it super uncomfortable to shower (the one in the bed can see you even with the curtain down bc it is not thick enough). You can see my aunt in the picture, imagine when we had to shower. Only acceptable for couples, undecent for family or friends. The staff didn't accept to change me to a more accessible room even if my aunt is 72 yo and back problems!! For that matter, Trip refunded me about a fourth or a fifth the booking which isn't a real solution for that. Breakfast was ok but once there was a dirty plate, tried to give it to the waiter but she just told me to use it. What was i suppose to do with it, put it back for others? The mats of the hallways aren't high-end at all. The lobby indeed is but not the rooms, they are not all worth the pictures. Please note that there are around 40 rooms upstairs where i was, where you are likely to be housed, you need 2 different elevators and walk one floor. Other cheaper hotels in shanghai will make you feel more the ”high end” experience. The price isn't justified in my opinion. Thanks to the cleaning ladies who where always so kind.

The hotel has a very convenient location — right by the main pedestrian street, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and easy access to the metro. There’s a small gym, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, they even let me check in an hour early after a long flight. Breakfast was decent by Chinese standards.
The only downside was that my room had no view of the city, but on the plus side, it was perfectly quiet and I couldn’t hear any noise from the busy street, which made it easy to sleep.
Overall, a good stay for the price.

I had a great stay at Youli Hotel during my recent trip to Shanghai. The location is excellent, just steps away from the metro station that conveniently connects Line 1 and Line 8—making it super easy to get around the city.
Although the hotel is small in size, it’s well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, offering great comfort and convenience. I was particularly pleased that the room was clean and completely free from any cigarette smell, which is often hard to find in some places.
There’s also a convenience store right next door, which came in handy for snacks and essentials. Major attractions like Nanjing Road and The Bund are within walking distance, making the location even more ideal.
I would definitely choose to stay at Youli Hotel again if I have the chance to return to Shanghai. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers!

Staff service is amazing!
Unlimited free drinking water.
Hotel offers free parcel collection.
The room for three is spacious, clean.
Most importantly, the aircon is strong enough in this hot summer. We can even adjust to below 10 degree celcius.
Beddings are so comfortable as well.
Only downside is the location, we have to walk like 10-13 mins with luggages to the hotel.
Nevertheless, price and quality are quite on par.
It’s a good choice to stay here.

Exceptional Stay - Outstanding Service!
We had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. From the moment i arrived, the staffs were incredibly helpful, attentive and professional.
Their warm hospitality and willingness to assist with anything we needed truly made our stay feel comfortable.
Breakfast perfectly fine for elderly and provided late porridge. Laundry service is good too!
Location is also perfect, walking distance to major attractions.
Though the room size is slightly smaller than kthers, it does not affect our stay. Understand it located at golden area.
Overall, we would stay again if go shanghai, and highly recommend to anyone looking for great service and convenience.

Like the location, prompting me to take more train than cabby, location is just next to station 1 stop away to people park (foodie location). Right below newly Starbucks service, breakfast is decent light meal for myself with fresh bananas. 7-eleven is just below, although station does look run down. Smart rm is full of apps suitable for local tourist that had subscriptions. Rm are of decent size with a total of 8 storeys, services are overall nice and friendly. Is definitely a place that will visit again if I am back to Shanghai.
It can be pretty dark at night, but is quite safe, although I still won’t recommend walking from people park back to hotel at night.
Luckin coffee coming up soon. Lobby accept deliveries on guest behalf.
Oh ya there’s no securities box or ironing board in the rm. Gym is decent. There is a standing steam ironing there beside the washing machine.

Excellent location right on Nanjng walking Street and 2 buildings away from Peace Hotel, but not noisy as street noise are blocked by the double windows. No view of the Bund but only a 3 mins walk from the Bund. Down side for location is that any car pick up needs to walk around 2 mins to the street corner. Great b’fst selection with Chinese & Western option buffet, different coffee tea milk juice, etc. Staff are super friendly and courteous, late check out till 1 pm is always given if you ask. Pillows are on the soft & flat side so you might want to ask for harder pillow, free bottle water at each floor’s lift lobby take all you can drink.

Excellent
GGuest UserThe homestay near the Bund, a famous tourist attraction in Shanghai, really exceeded my expectations. There is a small observation deck where you can see the beautiful scenery of Pudong. The whole room is decorated very carefully and fully meets the needs of family outings. The service during the stay was also humane. Come and experience other styles next time👍

GgilwGood location and clean. Have a family room (1 full size and 1 single bed) is a big plus for families. But the service is slow. Taking more than 20 min. to check in. And it cannot allow the refund when we changed the mind for not eating the breakfast there. Overall it is nice hotel but the elevator is kind of weird setup.
AAnonymous UserNice hotel, near metro (Lujiabang ext1). The room is clean but outside the room(walk way) there’s smoking smells and people talking a bit loud. The staff are nice, can speak english a bit

OOrchidlalaThe hotel was very comfortable to stay in. The bed and pillows were cozy, and the blackout curtains effectively blocked out light. The air conditioning was cool and adjustable. I stayed for a total of 6 nights. Although the hotel staff couldn’t speak English, they were kind and tried their best to communicate. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day.
The bathroom was automatic, which was the main reason I chose this hotel. But everything else exceeded my expectations. Complimentary drinks like water, cola, and Sprite were unlimited. Popcorn, tea, and coffee were also provided for free.
The hotel is small, with only 3 floors. There’s a projector, but it only displays content in Chinese, so I couldn’t understand it. The hotel is actually closer to Middle Huaihai Road Station than West Nanjing Station—both are within a relaxed walking distance, just about one traffic light away. Both stations are located in very walkable areas, with lots of cute shops and a calm vibe, unlike the busy pedestrian zone around East Nanjing Road.
The area around the hotel becomes a nightlife spot in the evening, so there are lots of people around and it doesn’t feel deserted.

Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel service is very good, the overall feeling is good, and the price/performance ratio is also OK. I chose this hotel when traveling to Shanghai. The overall room facilities and equipment are OK, and the room is clean. There are buses and subways around, and it is also close to the city center and the hospital. The room is well ventilated, the towels and bath towels are clean, and the bed sheets and quilt covers are also flat. Overall, it is good. The hotel responds very quickly. If you have any questions, you can ask the front desk, and the front desk will answer them patiently. It is worth recommending and will stay here next time. There is a washing machine, refrigerator, microwave oven, etc. in the room. The front desk also upgraded the large bed I booked, and also gave me a late check-out. I am still very grateful! So it is still worth recommending to travelers.
GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location. There is a McDonald's downstairs, ASE is across the street, and the subway station is also very close. After crossing the overpass, you can walk straight for 10 minutes to reach Ruijin Hospital. The hotel room is clean and hygienic, and the soundproofing is average. Overall, it is good value for money
Ppops choGood location nearby Nanning Road walkway and Metro Station.
Room is clean and match with 1-2 traveler as Friends or Solo traveler, Rest room is well suitable.
No Air Condition supply In winter. By the way, I request small fan support from staffs.
No Breakfast service but there are good locations to find local food all days.

GGuest UserThe soundproofing is poor and there is a separate small room with a movable door. If you close the door of the room next to it, you can hear it very loudly while lying on the bed! It is super loud and accompanied by vibration. The door of the small room will also make noises when it opens and closes. It is really frustrating, not to mention the children with no manners yelling, just like standing by the bed. I don't know why the curtains have to be left with gaps, and it gets light very early. This is ok. The main thing is that the door of the small room makes a really loud noise when it moves. I don't know what the purpose of this room is! Yes, there is no TV (it should be that there is no. It can't be that I didn't see that the hygiene is good and clean. The floor was still wet when I checked in. #Location is very convenient and close to the Bund, Nanjing Pedestrian Street #Room facilities have refrigerators #Service front desk is very good and patient

TTimijiakakaThe room was average, the hygiene was average, the floor drain smelled, it is recommended to install an anti-odor valve, there were cockroaches in the room, I was woken up by the sound at 2 o'clock in the morning, I saw a big cockroach about 5 cm long rubbing on the curtains 😢 As a northerner, I have never seen this thing, and I couldn't sleep all night afterwards. It looks small in the photo, but it is really big! Very scary! The room facilities are a bit old, and the floor tiles are broken
AAnonymous UserThe price on the first day of booking was still acceptable, but I didn't expect it to be nearly 30 yuan more expensive after one-click renewal. The experience immediately dropped to the bottom. I thought the price wouldn't be too high and I didn't expect the room to be good or bad. I asked the front desk and they said their price is different every day.
