Shanghai Changning District Hotels

I had ab amazing stay. The room had a microwave, kitchen sink, washing machine and a shower enclosed shower.  The staff speaks English and were very helpful (even when I had a wardrobe malfunction 🙈).

Our recent family stay at this hotel was wonderful! We needed two rooms to accommodate everyone, and the price was so reasonable—it made the stay totally worth it. Both rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, which was a huge plus after long days of activities. The beds were cozy, and we all slept well. But the best part was definitely the price—getting two rooms at such an affordable rate made our trip budget-friendly without sacrificing comfort. If you're looking for a great deal on a family-friendly hotel, we highly recommend this one! We’ll definitely be back on our next trip!

Third time staying there and this time, i had to pay a deposit when checking in which wasnt stated on Trip. Helpful front desk helped me to send luggage i didnt want to drag along with me around town. Loved the smell of the bar soap and shower gel.

Positive: Overall is fine. The room was clean. The hotel provided transfer to the airport. Negative: No one speaks English at the reception. The breakfast was not good. I mentioned in the comments that I needed a non-smoking room, but I was given a room with a terrible smell of smoke. After that, I asked them to change the number, and they did.

The service is very good, the staff are very enthusiastic, the facilities are complete, the wireless network is fast, the room is clean and tidy, and I have stayed here many times. As good as always, the breakfast is also good, with a variety of varieties, and the environment is good. There are several shopping malls around, and the cost performance is very high. Worth recommending

I always come back and it’s a Perfect stay for business for the location it’s easy to get to the different convention centers around the city Room although compact is super comfy - feather pillows ,good comforter and decent strong shower . Always a pleasure that the staff are very attentive during my stay. It made a huge difference and a relief that the room did not smell of smoke this time as sometimes other guests may sneak a smoke .. so does travel through the ventilation system . The staff and makes me feel safe too as a female traveler. Neighbourhood has lots of Chinese food options and fresh fruit etc. it’s close by subway to the airport and hongqiao station so you can avoid traffic . Expect 20-30 mins away so it’s great .

I took my kids to Wude Road and booked this hotel. There were many surprises. The room was upgraded for free and there was a terrace. The whole hotel environment was good. Although the equipment was not new, the management was good and the waiters were nice. The breakfast was rich and cost-effective!

We stayed at this hotel in Shanghai for business, and its location is excellent for visiting the trade fair. Both the fair, the railway station, the airport, and several large shopping malls are within a 10-15 minute radius, making it highly convenient. Taxis are the best way to get around, and they are quite affordable. The staff primarily speaks Chinese, but they effectively use translation apps on their phones to assist with communication. There was a particularly friendly bartender who spoke a little English and was eager to help, enhancing our overall experience. The hotel is new, with spacious rooms featuring comfortable beds and pillows. We were assigned a room that was supposed to include gym equipment, but it did not come with that feature. However, there is a decent gym available, so there’s no need to book a larger room for that purpose. The highlight of the room was the bathroom, which had a fantastic shower and a quality hairdryer. Breakfast offered a satisfactory selection. Additionally, the hotel provides an excellent laundry service with free detergent for washing and drying clothes, which was a great convenience for us. Overall, for the price we paid, we were very pleased with our stay!

Everyone was friendly and everything was going well until at the point of check out. There was a lady in reception by the name of Emma Li who was very unfriendly, dismissive and rude, she was on her phone when we approached her working station, and continued on it even when she was serving us, and seemed very uninterested in helping us when we asked her questions about storing our luggage at the hotel. I hope management will take this up with her, and also train her to treat her customers with respect and professionalism. We pay for good service and comfortable stay in reputable hotels like Radisson and it’s always so distasteful when you are treated poorly by the very same people that are supposed to make your stay nice and comfortable.

Very comfortable, foreigner friendly and clean hotel, easy access from Hongqiao airport with very kind and helpful staff. If you mind, you need to be careful with booking, not all rooms have windows facing outside.
