Firstly, I have to say that the service here provided by the staff was fantastic. I can dare say that it’s better than 5-star hotels—they are very present, attentive, patient, enthusiastic and helpful. As someone who barely speaks mandarin and travelling to China for the first time, they really took the effort and time to connect and made sure that we were not lost or confused. For the first time in a long time, I feel like the service staff genuinely care about their guests. The place itself is comfortable—hot water to shower, aircon that works well to fight the heat, daily housekeeping and basic amenities provided. Location is perfect if you are planning to visit Disneyland. To the main city, it’s not that close, but bearable and affordable by taxi. Convenient stores and supermarket is about half an hour by walk. But you can always order in food and drinks on their local app (you can ask the staff to help you if you’re unsure)… there are plenty of options. Some vegetarian too. And if you are ever feeling lonely, there are two residential cats in the main lobby area to keep you company. 🙂 Overall, I would recommend this place to people who are planning to visit Shanghai Disneyland. It’s a gem! Cute architecture too.

Qimeng Guesthouse was an absolute joy. About a five minute ride by DiDi from the nearest town, it was quiet and relaxing, a secluded getaway. The rooms were elegantly designed and the staff were absolutely wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

Because the typhoon had just passed, there weren't many tourists staying at this hotel. I had a problem with the room I booked, so I couldn't get it. So, I was given a free upgrade to a third-floor room with a view of the fireworks. I was pleasantly surprised when I got there, and it made the trip even more enjoyable. It was just too hot in Shanghai, so visiting Disneyland was a bit of a struggle. As long as the kids were happy, it was worth it.

It was raining and there was a leak in the lobby. The room smelled moldy. There were lots of small bugs and centipedes in the room.

The service of the front desk guy is so thoughtful! So considerate and great! The environment is so good! I really recommend it! There is also a pick-up or drop-off service, which is really considerate! The ins style decoration is really amazing. There are also two cats that are guaranteed to be filmed! It’s really cute! Cat lovers must recommend it!

We stayed here while sightseeing in Shanghai and visiting Shanghai Disneyland. We used the WeChat app to communicate with the staff, who were very kind and responded quickly to various requests such as adding towels. In addition, access to Shanghai Disneyland was good, and we were able to get there quickly using Didi. The hotel also arranged a free shuttle service after 7:30, but we did not use it because we were going to enter early. The hotel's design was very stylish, and it was a wonderful memory. We would definitely stay here again.

The room decoration is very unique, the garden is large, the service is very good, our flight was delayed for 2 hours, the hotel helped us to delay the check-out time for free, so that we can have a good rest, a big thumbs up 👍🏻
