Yuxin Theme Hotel (Shanghai Huangpu Branch) Reviews

Booked a single room for my solo travel in Shanghai. The hotel is located very close to Lujiabang Rd Metro Station and to various shops and restaurants like Family Mart and KFC. While I already know not to expect too much from my stay, there are some bad experiences I had while staying here. To begin with, I found the facilities to be quite lacking. My room was on the 3rd floor but there was no elevator, only stairways that appear to also lead to the private flats of the hotel’s neighbors as well. My bed and floor was never tidied up despite me leaving a sign asking to do so, although someone did always come into my room everyday to clean up the trash and change the towels. The hotel also does not provide mineral water so you have to buy it yourself. Lastly, I found the staff (receptionist) to be rather rude. I had several luggages but she would not help me bring them up to my room when checking in, nor to bring it down when checking out. I had to bring them all via stairs 3 levels up. If you’re only looking for a place to sleep that is strategically located, rather affordable for its location, but lacking in amenities, you’ll be fine here. Otherwise, unfortunately I can’t really recommend this hotel.

This hotel is ok.. there no lift. 😔 Room is clean but no free drink bottle and coffee 😔

It was so dirty , and no elevator we had to climb 3 stairs , no toilet paper , towels were grayish , fungus everywhere and smell was terrible , try not to save money , go for 3 star more rated hotels , not recommended

There was a very bad smell in the room

You said you didn't swear. On the first day after booking the room, I came down to tell you that the quilt in that room was opened. You said it directly. Damn it. I am an old customer. You knew someone had been in there, but you gave the room back to me. Do you think I am easy to bully?

On the first day of my stay, I was assigned a room. When I opened the door, I saw that the bathroom was wet and the quilt was opened. Then I went downstairs to ask the front desk. The front desk swore and said that it might be the person who went in at noon who opened it. What does that mean? You knew that someone went in at noon, but you deliberately assigned me this room? So it was intentional? I gave you good reviews before. The room was not very clean. Flies flew in and small insects crawled.

The soundproofing in the room is very poor. I can hear the conversation next door very clearly. I don't know if it was the next door or the upstairs who started cooking at around 6 o'clock in the morning. My God, it's a thunderbolt for those who have trouble sleeping...

I often book this hotel. It's very good and convenient. The front desk lady looks a bit fierce. It's cheap and convenient. I like it very much.

The countertops are decorated with unique styles, or unique art pieces, or carefully matched flowers and plants, which are eye-catching. The staff have warm and sincere smiles on their faces. When they talk to guests, their words are full of care and professionalism, and they also insert a few humorous words from time to time, which adds a lot of fun to the check-in process. The whole hotel is as quiet as if it is wrapped in a soft soundproof cover. Walking in the corridor, you can't hear any noise from the outside world, and every step is like stepping in a quiet time. The room is even quieter, so quiet that you can hear the rustling whispers of the leaves outside the window. Lying on the comfortable bed, it seems that the world has pressed the mute button for you, which can completely relax your tired body and mind and enjoy a pleasant and quiet time.

Your hotel meets the requirements of our customers in terms of sanitary conditions, service attitude, environment and geographical location. The key is that it has a high cost-performance ratio and convenient transportation. It is an ideal hotel to stay in.

The service is terrible. If you don't know, you might think it's like someone owes money to the front desk. I don't know what they are talking about 😅😅😅 The room doesn't even provide water. The overall feeling is very bad. It's very shabby. There are windows but it's not very ventilated, and there's a smell. I don't recommend it. This is the first time I write a bad review. I'm really disgusted

The hygiene and environment are average. When I was about to go to sleep, there were cockroaches crawling around the mattress. The hygiene needs to be improved.
