Sheraton Shanghai Fengxian Reviews

The staff were very friendly and professional, and especially friendly to my young son. They were my favourite thing about the hotel. The room was large and comfortable, but although we ran the air con all the time we couldn't get the room temperature below 23 degrees. For context the day time temperatures were around 30 degrees and night time below 20 while we stayed. We even had maintenance come to check our air conditioning and there was no problem with it, so this is something to do with the design of the hotel. Perhaps it is more suitable for Chinese expectations compared to foreigners? The breakfast buffet was ok - we ate well, but nothing especially exciting. The evening buffet had nice salads, seafood and fresh meats, but overall the options were a bit limited compared to some hotels I have been to. The hotel is quite new, but we saw some problems with the construction/finish (e.g. tiles had come off the bottom of the pool, there was some minor broken areas around the skirting board in our room). There is a well-equipped outdoor children's playground on the same floor as the pool. The pool is quite cold - it's good for swimming, but a bit cold for children to spend too long. The lifeguards were quite professional. Overall, I was happy with my stay due to the friendly staff and the fact that it was really quite cheap over the public holiday weekend compared to other hotels in Shanghai with similar facilities.

This hotel was ideal for this area. It’s close to local center and amenities. The hotel is of a very good standard, rooms and bathrooms are spacious. Breakfast buffet was good. Friendly staff.

Great hotel stay (former Marriott hotel). Amenities were good, and the room was a nice size. Small desk in the room was sufficient for work. Business lounge is temporarily on the ground floor, but has enough facilities.

I stayed at the Baohua Sheraton Hotel again, and I was still full of surprises! The girl with short hair and ears in the middle of the front desk was impressive with her warm and thoughtful service. From checking in to patiently answering questions, she always kept a friendly smile, professional and considerate, and instantly made people feel at home. The restaurant waiter Nico Wu also performed well. Not only did he respond to needs in a timely manner, actively add water and change plates, but he also enthusiastically recommended special dishes and provided meticulous service. In addition to high-quality service, the hotel's geographical location is also very advantageous. It takes only 12-15 minutes to walk to Qingxi Ancient Town, which is extremely convenient for travel. During the stroll, you can feel the fireworks of the city, and you can immerse yourself in the historical charm and unique style of the ancient town. Whether it is environmental facilities, service quality, or transportation convenience, Baohua Sheraton maintains a high standard. Both stays were excellent experiences. It is highly recommended to friends who pursue high-quality services and convenient travel!

The hotel is in a great location, with plenty of food, drinks and entertainment nearby. It is also very convenient to drive to popular places such as Qingxi Old Street and Liyao Village. The hotel's own children's playground, restaurant, swimming pool, gym, etc. are enough for tourists to relax physically and mentally~

It is within walking distance to Qingxi Old Street, and the location is very convenient. It is the first time I have seen a hotel bathroom with a Roca washbasin, Grohe faucet, Kohler toilet, and TOTO showerhead. They have all the brands 😂 The breakfast was messy and poor. There was really nothing to eat, and no one collected the plates. There were no children's toiletries in the room, so you could only use adult toiletries.
