First time in China, transferring via Shanghai. Booked this hotel just bcuz it has a very convenient location, like 10-15 minutes by walk to the metro stations, 5 minutes of walk to the shopping mall district, also two out of four staff are speaking English and the other two not but using portable translator. All of them are very friendly, willing to help foreigners if you’re in trouble (personally got helped with buying WiFi SIM card). Breakfast/ dinner is really good at the restaurant or in the convenience store right next to the information desk. However this hotel was mainly inhabited by Chinese nationals and only one me who is European (felt so). Sorry not much of the photos, only those which left in my camera roll :)

The location was perfect. But the room wasn’t that good as i expected

I booked room for one night. It was clean and good . The workers were loyal and supportive.The hotel location is good for tourists as we could easily travel different tourist places .

The room was very clean, the maids made it very clean and had polite attitudes which made me feel at home. Location was convenient

All the furniture looks worn out, but the worst thing is the carpet of the rooms and corridors, and the next thing is the stiff and old doors of the corridors that have to be opened with a card, which are so stiff and heavy that one is reminded of Alcatra prison, and the size of the rooms is good and the windows It is small

Not recommended. Small room wash room is also too slippery and wet easily. Dusty bedding and not good ventilation. The bed is small and not enough lighting in the room as well. As per cost its highly not recommended

We had an excellent stay at Zhongdian Hotel. Convenient location, near to metro and bus station. A lot of food shops nearby. We had a nice view of the three tallest towers in Shanghai in our hotel room balcony. I appreciate and commend the excellent service provided by the front desk lady receptionist with work number 76.Thank you so much. We will definitely choose Zhongdian Hotel again whenever we'll be back in Shanghai.

The hotel is at great location whereby walking distance to shopping area. There is Familymart at ground level and many good stores just across the street. The bed is stiff and floor is carpeted which I don’t really like.

Good Hotel , I can recommend travellers to book

Walking distnce from Metro Station for me and many local food shops just in front of hotel and nearby.

A warm welcome even though we arrived at 3am, quick check-in, nice rooms. And orders are delivered straight to your room. Was a good experience.

First I booked two nights at this hotel, but thanks god my plans have changes and I only had to stay there for a night. The room was terribly dirty, there were tons of hair on the carpet, not to mention that the whole carpet was covered with some stains. There was spider’s net in the corner and on the wall. Someone’s hair in the bathtub (and it wasn’t clean as well). The room smelled like a combination of smoke and mold and there was no chance to get any fresh air, because the window of my room overlooked the corridor. Also, in the description of the room, the presence of a refrigerator, a safe and a sofa was indicated, and none of this was in the room. I payed for all of this almost 400 for one night and now I’m trying to get a refund from the platform, because the only purpose this hotel room can be used for is to commit su*cide lol I will attach pictures and you can draw your own conclusions, but I strongly not recommend this hotel

Room is quite clean but smells old, probably because there's the window to the hall, which is weird and bad ventilation. Okay place for sleep for a night

Dirty room bed bugs . hanging up calls when we ask for drinking water . Breakfast fast also not good . Don’t book this hotel . trip should not prompt hotel like this .
