Great hotel in a calm neighbourhood, close to everything. Would stay again. nice city view!

Good hotel with beautiful road from west nanjing road subway station.

A fine establishment! All amenities are available. Room service is top-notch, they even folded my clothes when we were outside. Reception staff is super helpful. 10/10 experience. Location is good.

Manager Li at the front desk was very friendly and upgraded my room type for free. I really liked the bathtub in the room and had a very comfortable bath.

The location was ok. Takes abt 15 mins to walk to the metros. There is a small convenient store just opposite and coffee places and restaurants further down. Gym is open for commercial use.

Looks old from outside but the inside is a different story really spacious room with breathtaking views.

I thought the hotel was lovely , the area is really close to middle huai huai road which has great shops. Staff were great and bed was very comfortable

Unfortunately if you’re not foreigner looking, their workers blatantly look down at you and their service is not up to par as if you were a foreigner. Me and my friend, both US born Asians, had really bad talks with the front desk workers and concierge workers. There was no sign of hospitality, rather it seemed like they were rushing to get us to leave even when there was no one in line. Additionally, the shower was built so awkwardly. Every time you shower, water would leak out onto the floor because there was a ledge to the side of the bathtub that connected to the floor, which water would then drop onto that and flow onto the floor. Compared to all of the other hotels I stayed in China so far (Nanjing, Beijing, Hangzhou, etc.), this hotel was by far one of my worst experiences. I don’t know if this is just the Shanghai “pretentious” energy or it’s just this hotel, but for your sake, physically and mentally, don’t book this hotel.

Hotel is located in 10 minutes walking through shadowy tree streets to 2 neighbour Metro lines. There is a highway next to the hotel, but it is not noisy because 95% of vehicles are electrical. Breakfast is beautiful: contains European and Asian food, many different dishes, a lot of sweets. 20 m long swimming pool and Gym are included. Desk-personnel speaks English

This is a hotel with a very badly worn interior. Everything in the room is very old. The breakfast is very poor, it’s almost nothing to eat for the Europeans. Finally all staff speak English very bad, even at the reception. Nonetheless cleaning was good.

It is perfect location to travel around Shanghai’s main attraction , easily accessible

Excellent location, especially if you like a more relaxed atmosphere and a peek of the city from a local point of view. Will stay again next time in Shanghai

Staff can speak english and very accommodating…strategic location as well
