Since the towel was missing upon check-out, a corresponding amount was deducted from the deposit in accordance with our house rules. This was not an arbitrary charge but a standard procedure based on industry practice and our stated policy.Regarding Security and SurveillanceWe understand your wish to check surveillance footage to verify whether another guest may have taken the towel. However, please note that as an independent homestay operator, we do not have access to the building’s security cameras. If necessary, you may contact the property management or relevant local authorities, and we are happy to assist where possible.Regarding the Door and Cleaning ServiceWe did not provide any in-stay cleaning services during your reservation, and our staff did not enter your room at any time. As for your mention of the door being left open, we have found no records to support this, nor did we receive any real-time report from you during the stay. Response from Property: Dear guest, we respect every guest's evaluation, but your negative review is not only untrue, but also ignores the truth. It even blames us for the consequences of your own violations. This behavior is really regrettable. During your stay, we have clearly informed you of the rules for using the parking card many times: it must be placed under the windshield in the car and cannot be brought back to the room. You confirmed twice on March 25 and March 28 that you received our reminders and expressed your understanding. However, you still choose to ignore the rules and bring the parking card back to your room, resulting in your vehicle being locked by the apartment security and a RM50 fine being imposed. This penalty is entirely due to your own violation and is enforced by the apartment management department in accordance with established regulations and has nothing to do with our homestay. However, you maliciously accused us in your review and even tried to cover up your own mistakes, which is not only unfair but also extremely irresponsible. Our B&B always provides clear guidelines and reminds you many times to comply with the regulations. As a guest, you should be responsible for your own behavior instead of making groundless accusations against others. We cannot accept your unreasonable comments. I hope you can treat your mistake in a more fair and rational manner. I also hope other guests can learn lessons from it, respect the rules and avoid similar problems.
