Amazing hotel , hotel not far from Metro station, very clean room ,nice bathtub, the breakfast really delicious, , will stay next in this Hotel for sure ….

It’s my first stay @ Jianguo Shanghai Hotel. Jianguo Shanghai Hotel is located at the busy Xujiahui business district of Shanghai. Its surroundings are full of vibrancy with the Xujiahui station [Line 1, Line 9 and Line 11] close to the hotel. The hotel facilities are modern & up to date. The beds are huge and very comfortable. The sofa in the hotel room is an added bonus. Even the toilet amenities are provided for the guests. Buffet breakfast @ Jianguo Shanghai Hotel is a delight! There is a wide selection of food which are satisfying to the taste buds. A great place to stay in Shanghai for sure! Will surely make a comeback when I visit Shanghai the next time! YAY!

Staff are friendly but not up to a "welcome to home" level. The location is great. Breakfast is just okay for the price.

1. When my room is set at Do Not Disturb , the staff still knocked the door for an issues that is totally not related to my room and the staff showed she was confused what and who . 2. Buffet Breakfast was self service for looking for and taking a seat and taking the cutlery. The table has no set-up to show a table is taken . During busy hours, it’s messy . It appear that I was given a table , and when I went to take my food , another guest came to take my table . When I tried to tell the table was taken , the guest told me I did not tell people the table was taken . That’s embarrassing and messy .

I initially booked 4 days stay at this hotel, on my 2nd day I found out they never changed bed sheets after previous guests and toilet was not cleaned as well. I gave them a chance and they moved me to another room, and I asked lobby manager Kevan who was very nice to make sure it’s clean room. Unfortunately it was not and I had to leave hotel earlier. I would not be looking to stay there again with such low level of cleanliness. Breakfast was good and not expensive. Location is good.

Good location with a reasonable price and service is good too.

Good location and easy to book through TRIP. The original room is very noisy as it’s just beside the elevator. Tried to talk with front desk and service was terrible: they insisted this noice is normal for the standard single room. Either need to take it or upgrade with a fee. After I mentioned I had stayed in the same building, same standard room, different level/ unit, they eventually agreed to switch another room which is better.
