Pros: close to Pudong airport, comfortable bed, reception staff. Cons: very weird layout in the bathroom. Most awkward I have ever seen. Top floor swimming pool is neglected. No restaurants or shops in vicinity. Busy road just in front of the hotel. 

Very nice and comfortable hotel. Provides shuttle to Disney and Airport too.

We stayed at Licheng Garden Hotel during a Disneyland trip with our child, and it turned out to be one of the most disturbing and disappointing hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the beginning, the phone in our room was broken, meaning we couldn’t receive deliveries via the hotel robot. We had to go downstairs at midnight with our child just to pick up food. We reported the issue to the front desk, but no one came to fix it until the next day at noon, after we returned from Disneyland. I clearly told the staff we needed rest, and they should only enter the room when we went out again in the afternoon. However, the engineer entered our room during our rest time without permission, attempted a repair, and left without resolving the issue. What’s worse — and completely unacceptable — is that after I had just finished showering and was only wearing a thin pajama dress with no underwear underneath, the engineer suddenly entered the room again, without knocking or warning. I was completely shocked and felt extremely violated. A five-star hotel that cannot protect guest privacy has no right to call itself five-star. Later that evening, our food delivery arrived, and again, due to the phone issue, it couldn’t be sent to our room via robot. I had already informed the front desk earlier to help, but we overheard the delivery man on the phone being told by the hotel staff that “they didn’t know and couldn’t help.” Although the food was eventually brought to us, the lack of responsibility and coordination was deeply frustrating. The hotel management is disconnected, departments don’t communicate, and staff show no regard for guest privacy or comfort. This was a terrible experience, and we will never return — nor would we recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a safe and professional stay. 我们带孩子去上海迪士尼游玩，选择入住丽呈花园五星酒店。结果这次的入住体验令人震惊且极度失望。 房间电话从入住起就无法使用，导致外卖无法送入房间，凌晨时我们只能亲自下楼去拿。我们第一时间告知前台，但直到第二天中午从迪士尼回来我去前台咨询才有人问“现在可以维修吗？”我明确表示我们正在休息，请下午我们外出后再进入房间维修。但他们不顾我们的要求，午休期间强行进入房间维修，且一次未修好就离开。 最令人愤怒的，是我洗完澡刚出来时，维修人员竟再次擅自进入房间，而此时我仅穿着薄睡衣，里面并没有穿内衣。这种情况下突如其来的进入，让我感到极大的惊吓和羞辱。五星级酒店居然连最基本的客人隐私和安全都无法保障，简直不可原谅。 当晚外卖送达时，由于电话仍无法使用，我已提前拜托前台协助送达。但从外卖员电话中我们听到的，却是“前台说没有送餐服务、不清楚、不处理”。虽然最后有人把外卖送到了房间，但整个过程中的推诿、不配合与管理混乱，已让人心寒。 整体来看，酒店部门之间沟通完全断裂，对客人反馈迟钝，毫无责任感。这是我住过最差的“五星”酒店，没有之一

Great hotel, enjoyed our stay and even decided to extend our stay for 4 more nights. Rooms are very clean, staff is always very helpful, always help with lots of bags and strollers. Breakfast is the best we had in Shanghai. There’s also a nice play area for kids, and small store available for needs.

Was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at so far. The place is bright, clean, and very well equipped with amenities to keep the whole family busy during downtimes. The breakfast and restaurant was amazing as well. But most of all, the staff there was so incredibly friendly. Since I couldn’t speak Chinese, they readily had their phones out to use translation apps to make sure we got what we needed as well as a staff member who spoke English and checked in on us frequently. I would say they even went out of their way make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Both AM crew and PM crew were amazing. Was our first time in Shanghai and just the experience of this hotel and the staff alone makes us want to come back and visit again. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We’ll be back :)

Amazing hotel 🏨. Room is big and clean with nice theme design. Children come with free breakfast. 15-20mins drive to Disneyland and with free shutter bus and free shtter bus to Pudong airport. Staffs are friendly and so helpful, provided a lot tourist info and guide. We will come again next time.

Very comfortable hotel, clean and stylish rooms, especially the glittering grouting in the bathroom - it made my day :) Also a really nice place on the 6th floor to chill out and eat delivered food with friends. And finally - a very pleasant aroma troughout the whole hotel!

This hotel will be a great choice in case you are looking a place to stay near the Pudong airport and Disneyland. The hotel is new, very clean. The interiors and constructions are modern. Suggest to use breakfast - huge variety of meal you can get there
