Shanghai Shijia Homestay (Railway Station) Reviews

The interior of the room is very comfy, but there is smoking smell in the room and even in the hallway. Location wise is still a bit far from the metro station even though its just a 12min walk, the ideal way is still calling didi.

This Homestay shares the same building with seasons hotel. Opposite of the building there is a convenient store for your daily needs. The place is located about 10 mins walk to Shanghai railway stn and metro. It's a nice place to stay. The only downside I would say the bed mattress just too hard.

We enjoyed our stay. There were some minor issues but could be solved easily. After getting wechat contact from host, enquiries were promptly attended to. Public area/Hall way outside the unit was not up kept but once inside the unit.. It was OK. Summary.. The place is recommended, and there are still rooms for improvement.

Had no problems checking in, very convenient location, room was comfortable and clean. Working air conditioning & radiator. Supplied with toothbrushes, a washer and dryer with detergent, plenty of towels, not much else I could ask for. Lucky coffee 3 minutes from your bed, walk 5 minutes up the street to find dozens of local cheap delicious restaurants. Found everyone was very helpful in the area. Lots of metro stations and a big shopping mall nearby. 谢谢你，我明年一定会回来！

The check in process was very convenient. Just contact the home stay via Wechat and the details will be texted, including finding the way and unlocking the room. No issues with foreign passports. The bottom floor lobby is a separate hotel. No need to talk to the front desk. The fridge, washer, and private bathroom were all great to have. The location is good if you are using Shanghai Railway station frequently like us. Otherwise 10 minute walk to either Line 1 or 13. Clean and spacious.

Very clean. Very comfortable. Close to Nanjing Road. There's a family mart around. Host was very nice and helpful. There was a dryer and washing machine. Water working well. Will come back here again 👍🏼👍🏼

Great location and price compared to previous disappointing stays in hotels. Checking in wasn't absolutely clear but we got there and called the landlord. If guests are expected to call in advance then the instructions of "the landlord will greet you on arrival" is slightly misleading. Great place, warm and no noise from the road. Highly recommended!

The place is nice and clean. Easy to find the place, it is like 8-10 minutes walk from nearest metro station. The room and bedding already setup according to our family. Amenities are complete. Communication was easy and fast response with the host. It is really a recommended stay.

It is a service apartment, nice, clean and in a good location near Shanghai Railway Station. The check-in and out are fast and smooth. I recommend it.

It’s a ten-minute walk to Shanghai Station, and the customer service responded promptly. The toilet is a bit small and the hot water comes very slowly. Others are pretty good.
