We had a really good experience with Homeinn Neo. The best thing is definetly the location, it's just 3 minutes walking to the metro line 1, and 15 minutes to Ninjang road and people's park. We used the hellobikes quite often. The room was nicely furnished and clean and there was a water refill station and powerbank rentals downstairs. We had a room without window, which was a little bit weird in the morning but ok in the evening. Noise level was quiet. 10/10 recommend, I would definetly stay here again.

Front office staff was kind and check in and check out was easy. Rooms are very compact and the price was little high. You do not even have space to keep your luggage. One cannot walk around inside the room. I noticed the bathroom is little spacious compared to bed room area. I spent more time at the lobby than in room at day time. Lobby have space with chairs and good wifi. Room wifi was also good and fast. Room and bathroom was clean with good hot water. Chinese breakfast with bread and jam. One should use chop sticks to apply jam on the bread. They dont provide or keep a knife of the table. No butter. Breakfast was average. Food delivery robot was very active in delivering food to rooms. Location is very near to SNIEC which is a plus point and that's why people pay more money to stay at this hotel even though the rooms are very small. Super market, sim card, restaurants, watsons store, drug store are around the corner. Nearest mall is just 600 meters away which is attached to Kerry hotel. I stayed here for 5 days and my room number was 8246.

We chose this hotel due to its excellent downtown location. It's a short walk to The Bund and Nanjing East Road, and right outside, you'll find a Pop Mart store and large shopping malls. The front desk service was excellent; the staff were very polite, warm, and attentive. One of the ladies was particularly friendly, even lending us her own umbrella. The room was clean, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. We'll definitely be back!

I booked room at this hotel when I was transit. Yes, room isn't big, but has a good bed and cleanliness enough.  This hotel has good location, you can reach the centre of Shanghai and you can walk around the hotel. Also this neighborhood has a lot of restaurants the you can find chinese food. I totally recommend this hotel for solo travelers and for transit people.

I was quite hesitant before booking this Hanting hotel on Wukang Road, as I'd read many negative reviews about it. However, I only had one day, and all the places I wanted to visit were conveniently nearby. So, I decided to give it a try and booked a room. To my surprise, it was great! First off, the location couldn't be better – it's right opposite the famous Wukang Road Building. Anfu Road is just a 10-minute walk away, and there are tons of interesting little shops nearby to explore. What's more, the value for money is incredible, and the place was spotless. It's an excellent choice for both business and family travelers. The receptionist was incredibly friendly and warm. Next time I'm in Shanghai, this will definitely be my top pick!

The hotel room is right next to the front desk, on the first floor. It's very noisy! From 6 or 7 o'clock, there were children screaming non-stop, and people were making loud noises in the corridor. No one stopped them, and I was woken up countless times. It's so noisy that your cerebellum atrophies.

That was a lovely stay in my favorite hotel chain Home Inn. Price was affordable, location was absolutely great! However the furniture in the rooms felt worn out, especially bathroom cabinets. Breakfast was super cheap and for that reason probably scarce … I’d say the biggest minus was that we couldn’t find any coffee at all! All in all, it was good.

The room was clean, the bed was a bit hard, and the staff were very attentive and proactive in helping! It is very convenient to stay near the subway station. I will consider staying here next time. There is also a rest area next to the lobby, where it is very comfortable to order takeout and have a midnight snack! As it is close to the subway, there is inevitably some noise from the subway. Our room was far away from the door this time, which just reduced the noise impact. It's a shame there's no elevator, but the staff will help carry your luggage upstairs!

Great for a short stay, the location was suitable for our purpose (to be near that side of Shanghai). The room was clean. If breakfast was included in the price I would give this a 5 star rating. Otherwise professional staff and great service.

This hotel was clean and got the job done for a brief solo trip, but it definitely did not seem newly renovated. Be forewarned, there is essentially zero sound insulation- I could hear everything in the hallway, ranging from conversations to slamming doors as if they were inside my room. There was also the faint smell of smoke in my non-smoking room, which I realized seemed to be coming from the ventilation system, and I suspect that maybe it was pulling in air from the outside. That being said, the staff was kind, and for the price and location, it was sufficient.
