昨年も滞在して朝ごはんがおばさんの手作りと思われとっても美味しかったので今年も楽しみに泊まりました。お辞めになったのか?わかりませんが、鮭は美味しかったですが、普通のバイキング用の業務用の食材に変わっていて残念でした。おばさんの手作りの食事は最近のホテルにはない手作りで美味しかったので、また食べたいと思い泊まりましたが残念でした。

奄美大島の古仁屋を訪れた時に宿泊したホテルで、町中にあり、周りに若干の飲食店があります。 徒歩１０分くらいで、加計呂麻島などへのフェリー乗り場にもなっている海の駅へ行け、そばにはAコープもありました。 経営者が変わり、リニューアルオープンしたホテルなので、広々とした客室で気持ちが良かったです。 朝食は、宿泊料金に含まれており、前日に和食か洋食及び時間のオーダーを入れて、２階の朝食会場で食べるようになっています。

外観のイメージより館内の方が綺麗でした。 お部屋はきちんと清掃されていて広く、小さいキャリーケースが2つひろげられる台が完備されているところがポイント高かったです。 バスルームも狭いと使いづらいですが、こちらは広めで使い勝手がよかったです。 シャンプー、コンディショナー等が安っぽくなかったのが嬉しかったです。 冷蔵庫がホテルによくあるタイプの大きさではなく、1人暮らし用サイズの2ドアタイプでビックリでした。連泊される方には便利かもしれません。 朝食は洋食を選びました。家庭で食べるようなシンプルなメニューでしたが満足でした。

部屋は広すぎず、狭すぎずでちょうどよいサイズ。朝食は和定食か洋定食か選べるタイプだった。和定食を選んだが、焼き魚もおいしく満足。ただし、朝食をがっつり食べて昼を抜くことが多い私にとっては少し量が足りなかったか。泊まった翌朝に加計呂麻島に行く予定で、7時半ごろホテルを出たが昼頃には再び大島に戻ると伝えると、それまでホテルの駐車場に車を置いておいてもいいということに。ありがたかった。古仁屋港までは徒歩5分程度なので便利だった。 あと、なぜかホテルのロビーの裏あたりに奄美の先史資料館として、戦艦や空母の模型が飾られていた。主力は700分の１のウオーターラインシリーズで、かなり大型の大和などもあった。オーナーの趣味なのだろうか。奄美らしさといえば、特攻艇震洋のパネルでの説明もあった。

奄美大島一周のドライブの際に宿泊しました。ホテルの駐車場は空きがなかったためフロントにクルマの鍵を預けることになりましたが、翌朝には出発時間に合わせて準備してもらえました。部屋は水回りは古いものも残っていますがエアコンのききも十分で問題ありませんでした。近くにコンビニや飲食店がありました。
