Fantastic overnight stay here. We stayed on our way back to Windhoek from Sossusvlei. It’s about 45 minutes’ drive to Sossusvlei so very conveniently located. The room was nice and the food for dinner and breakfast was very delicious. Staff were very friendly too. The grounds are incredibly beautiful and situated under a very scenic cliff base so the views are very pleasant. The only slight problem was the shower was quite cold no matter what we did, but other than that we had a good time here. The wifi was particularly good and fast for Namibia. They said it was only available in the restaurant and reception (as is normal for every hotel in Sossusvlei/Etosha) but we were able to connect to it even from our room 67 which was quite far from there. I would recommend a stay here.

In der Namib Desert Lodge hatten wir nur den Sunsetdrive gebucht. Zusammen mit einem anderen Ehepaar hatten wir eine großartige, informative und sehr kurzweilige Fahrt mit Ronald in dieser beeindruckenden Umgebung der versteinerten Dünen. Wunderbare Bewirtung, sehr schönes Erlebnis. Dank an Ronald.

We arrived in the afternoon and there were oryx right around the lodges. We took a short hike and it was right up against the big rocks. Saw sociable weaver's nest nearby. Good place for star gazing. The sundowner driver was great. The sunset was beautiful. With the mountain in the backdrop, the landscape is breathtaking. Big room, clean. Good night sleep. Dinner buffer is pretty good as well. Highly recommended

Kaikin puolin mahtava paikka! Maisemat huikeat!
Keihäsantilooppeja ja pahkasika oli joka päiväunien vieras.
Lähipolut kannattaa käydä kävelemässä.
Ravintolassa tarjoiltava ruoka tulisi suojata linnuilta. Joka ruokailussa pikkulinnut söi useista astioista. Liekö tästä aiheutunut kevyttä vatsa ongelmaa?
Uima-allas vesi voisi olla pari astetta lämpimämpää…

Neuer Tag, neuer Loge… nach einer langen Tour sind wir in der Lodge eingekehrt. Der Check-in Prozess verlief reibungslos und schnell. Beinder Rezeption gibt es noch einen großen Souvenirladen. Bei den Zimmern angekommen erst einmal die Schuhe aus. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und sauber. Das Bad war ebenfalls sauber. Abends gab es ein Buffet was abwechslungsreich gewesen ist und es war für alle was dabei. Als Frühstück hatten wur leider nur eine Box, da wir am kommenden Morgen um 5 Uhr wieder losgefahren sind. Können wir empfehlen!
