"Very helpful owner so we hired a car easily and it was easy to have groceries delivered for our arrival. A lovely refurbished room with a nice terrace and a coffee machine. Collected and returned to port as arranged. Very friendly helpful staff on desk including owner’s son , Irene and Katrina and all staff in the bar and restaurant . Comfy sun loungers on beach and around pool. However I had chosen the hotel for its photos on website of its handrails to enter the pool . These were not in place and so I could not use the pool! So very very disappointed as I have arthritis and accessing the sea on the beach requires considerable balance . We swam in the sea as husband was at hand . Otherwise a lovely spot ! We thought the breakfast was good as we also stayed at eight hotels during our month’s holiday so could compare."

The host very kindly allowed me a late check out as I was catching an afternoon ferry. I would highly recommend Aliktypo studios if you are staying on Serifos."

"We received a very warm welcome and had a lovely room with a sea view. The furnishings were standard (safe, hairdryer, wardrobe, mini-fridge). The bed was larger than usual (2 x 2 meters). We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. It included a delicious selection of typical Greek sweet and flaky pastries, Greek yogurt, bread, croissants, various drinks, etc. What I particularly appreciated was that they arranged gluten-free bread for me, as I have an allergy."

"This is the dreamiest hotel! Its like being on another, nicer planet where the decor is spare but perfect for the environment, the beds super comfy, the air-conditioning strong if and when needed, the food and drinks all excellent. Plus a fantastic staff. The beach is long and sparsely populated, and the water simply delicious. But don't forget your tevas or other beach shoes, as getting in over the rounded stones can be difficult without. Because of the lack of a sandy beach, the water is even more crystal clear. And if you walk way down to either the left end (farther) or the right end (close), getting in is much easier. Did I mention that your comfy sunbeds and umbrella has a call button for bar service? And a chilled carafe of water will arrive within moments of you setting up camp for a blissful afternoon. Manoli's Taverna at Psili Ammos is awesome, btw."
