Hotels in Apgujeong/Cheongdam-Dong, Seoul

First time to Andaz Gangnam. Great experience. Wish I had more personal time to enjoy the service and amenities. Please keep up the good work.

Room is expected to be small. Location is great with lots of shops and cafes and restaurants just across the street. The highest problem I had was the thin wall and door, no soundproof at all!! I hear the cleaning lady setting up her cart and vacuum every morning.

Good and clean hotel. Location is good. The bathroom could be better, the layout is a bit weird given it's not it's own space. Overall service was good. The front staff helped us to get a taxi to airport and helped to explain everything to the taxi driver. View from the room is the big junction of apgujeong area really giving nice city vibe.

Loved it so much, this is my second time staying here. Fantastic location - centrally located, can get anywhere in 10-30 mins. Bus stop right in-front of the hotel and Sinsa station 5 mins away. There’s a 7-11 next to the hotel. There’s food places around the Garousu-Gil shopping area - lots of the locals hang out there. There’s a cafe (lobby) and rooftop bar in the hotel. 10 mins walk to the Airport bus stop - super convenient to take the bus to/from the airport. Rooms are clean and minimalist. Just take note that amenities are limited as this is an eco friendly hotel. If you are travelling with someone bring or buy additional soap/shampoo as its bar soap/shampoo/conditioner (1 bar each). If you don’t want your room cleaned daily - hotel does leave a bag of clean towels and water top up at your door. Floor space it’s good to open 3 large suitcases flat. There are slots under the bed to keep 2 suitcases just like their photos show. Only thing lacking is hanging space - towel and clothes. Loved the free Dear Klairs skincare samples. Store was located down the street from the hotel, picked up a few things because of the samples. You can keep your luggage in the lobby so you don’t need to pay extra for a locker.

The room is considered quite large in Korea. The two-story loft is spacious. The location is also very good. It is convenient for eating, drinking and shopping nearby. However, since it is a designer hotel, there are no more services. Remember to bring your own toiletries.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. I got there early and they let me checkin and it was quite quick. The room was a decent size for a solo traveller and the shower was good. The location is okay since there’s three different stations to go too. Hak-dong station is around 8-10 minute walk and is on line 7. Sinsa is around 15 minute walk and Apgeoudo (spelling?) was around 18 minute walk. They are both the same line which is the orange colour one. I did find it a bit far but it was good for when you had a huge meal and need a walk back from the station. It is less busy and quieter for those who don’t like the bustling, noise in a central area. As for staff, I did not deal with them much aside from checkin so I had no issues. For amenities, there is a pool but I also did not go there since the weather is still cold. My negative review would be that the sheets did have hair on it. I have read other comments of the hair on the bed sheets before booking the hotel. However, I believe this to be a issue with what they are cleaning with or the machine they are using. The hair seems to stick to the bed sheets so it might be the washing machine needs cleaning? Aside from the bed sheets, the room was pretty clean. There is also a bit of noise from the Main Street since many cars pass by. They do provide earplugs but it doesn’t always block out all the noise from cars.

Booked the hotel for a work trip, room is sufficiently large for 1 pax, plenty of space for luggage space. Location is very prime, walking distance to Sinsa station. However one downside is they are very strict on check in timing which is at 3pm. Even though they had rooms available earlier, they wouldn't allow you to check in early without paying early check in fee that charges per hour. Arrived at 1230pm, was told that check in only available at 3pm, but if i wanted to check in now, i needed to pay a per hour fee (from 1230 - 3pm) and check in now. I just left my luggage at storage, changed my clothes freshened up and left hotel for the day.

Amazing experience, good bang for the buck and on top of everything the breakfast isn’t really good. I’d recommend the Hotel Riviera Soeul

This was an excellent experience. The staff is very professional and helpful. I would encourage an foreigner to visit here. Room was excellent with a magnificent view of Gangnam. I would definitely go again.

The location and facilities are decent and quite impressive. However, I'm not sure about the quality of the staff. More than 80% of the staff give the impression that they judge customers based on their perceived wealth, and if they think you don't have money, they can be quite rude. Later, when they realize you do have money, you can sense their jealousy and envy—it's pathetic. Some even engage in petty behavior, like watching you closely and trying to find faults to bring you down. It's a place that feels lifeless. I'd recommend opting for a cheaper, more vibrant place instead. The awkwardness here stems from it being stuck in a sort of middle ground😂
