A warm place, perfectly located 5 minutes walk from Mangwon metro station and 10 minutes from Mangwon market. Nearby (10-15 minutes) is the party district of Hapchen and the student district of Hongik University with endless cafes, bars, karaoke, gyms, shops, malls. Right next to the guesthouse there are several 24-hour stores and shiktans with traditional Korean cuisine. I also recommend trying the food at the market. It is budget and delicious.
The guesthouse itself is clean and homely cozy, the atmosphere is conducive to relaxation. A nice terrace with lighting and umbrellas and several areas for chilling different companies. Convenient shared kitchen. There is also a laundry room and a shared bathroom. There is a machine with coffee and various drinks (only with Master and Visa cards), a cooler with free ice and water.
We rented a family room on the second floor overlooking a busy street and terrace. Despite this, it was quite quiet. Also, you couldn't hear your neighbors.
I really enjoyed my stay here.
The only thing that was missing was dishes and cutlery in the kitchen, but this did not affect the impression of the hotel.
I highly recommend it!!!
Guesthouse itself is nice and it’s in the description ‘budget’ so don’t expect the Hilton. The room was ok small maybe needed a little paint job. The area itself I wasn’t so fond of but there was a 7 minute walk to the nearest subway . You could walk to hongdae which I think was about 25-30 minutes. If your only there to sleep then sure this is good. Wasn’t so keen on the bunk beds tho getting up and down the ladder was a pain. But they provide you with plugs towels cups and even a microwave outside in the lobby. The downstairs is a cafe but I think only for events like cupsleeve events . Jun who runs the guesthouse was so lovely , he was so helpful . And the best thing is I told him in the morning that I liked boybands like seventeen enhypen stray kids etc and when we came back to the room after our day out he left a bag full of cups from previous events and photocards like a sunoo cup and a Hoshi cup , how did he know Hoshi is my bias from seventeen it was just luck I guess , but I thought that was a lovely touch and he helped us download some apps that we needed and told us directions etc overall for service and just somewher to sleep is ok
