This is perfect for solo traveler. The location is near to everything you need. Subway, airport transfer, food, convenience shop and i mean everything.

This hostel is very nice and tidy. It comes with many amenities as well as lovely staff members. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Best value hotel near Euljiro-1 for friends and families with young children. All rooms are set up for 4 pax, has a hair dryer, drip coffee apparatus, a kettle, a mini fridge and international power plugs. Check-in and check-out processes seamless, and requires no interaction with hotel staff. There’s a rooftop that is opened when I came at spring, and it was beautiful with chairs and great views. The hotel and rooms are clean and bed very comfy. Staff are so gentle and respectful. Some issues to note though but they’re not dealbreakers for me: (1) toilet has no bidet (2) rooms are not very sound proof especially when you get a room next to guests with young children (perhaps hotel can put up a multilingual notice at the back of each door to ask guests to keep noise down after 10/11PM? (3) there is always a “dry shrimp” smell coming out of the toilet floor traps, but I have stayed at four of the room types of this hotel and they are all the same. Just keep the toilet door closed at all times (4) there is no coin laundry however I was directed to a GS25 laundromat near Hotel Savoy which sits on the same alley though that’s about 10-15 mins walk down to Myeongdong station.

The hotel is very close to the train station but we will here the sound of traffic all night. Eveything is not good. We stay on the 8th floor and all the room is chinese people. The make a loud noise at night and we cannot sleep. When i go down to reception to ask for their help, there is nobody even before 10 pm. So i went to tell the reception staff in the morning. He just say sorry to me and do nothing. then i have to stay with the loud noise again and go to ask another to please be quiet but nothing better. When we check out. Reception said the elevator is out of order and dont know when will finish repairing. He said i have to bring the luggage by myself to 1st floor from 8th floor by stair. So I ask him we have 2 big luggage and 1 baby with baby stroller can you give me any help? All he said is “No, we have no any help.” This is the worst hotel i ever stay. Not worth at all. We pay 4xx,xxx krw for 2 nights to stay in this hotel. Everything you will get from this hotel is only drip coffee bag in the room

Overall, I felt that the while the location was great. There is serious room for improvement. For example, in my case the view was blocked by a wall, making the capsule incredibly hot. The Hairdryers don’t work and one was actually dangerous to touch. I feel that for the price, the amenities are limited and I found that I had to change the duvet cover myself, no easy task inside a capsule.

The capsule room has a beautiful 7th floor view of the neighborhood, and each capsule has a cute little window. Everything looked modern and aesthetic.
