Très bel établissement, au sein d’un grand parc aux arbres centenaires. Les chambres (10) sont modernes vastes et très bien équipées, bonne literie. Le petit déjeuner, servi jusqu’à 11:00, est un régal et peu largement faire office de déjeuner. Café, croissants, jus de fruits, œufs préparés à la demande salade de fruits, fromage et charcuterie … une tuerie ! Nous avions la chambre accessible PMR au rez-de-chaussée, elle est vraiment bien équipée. Pour finir il faut parler des hôtes, c’est une famille charmante, très sympathique si bien que nous avions l’impression d’être en vacances chez des amis !

Chateau de Didonne is an excellent choice as ‘base camp’ for visiting the Royan-area. The rooms (10 in total) have been nicely renovated, the beds are comfortable and there is air-conditioning (not unimportant these days of extreme temperatures)! The owners are marvellous hosts and the breakfast is certainly above-average! On the downside: the chateau is relatively far away from Royan (and other interesting places) so you will need a car for everything! I also wished they had a pool (something one should expect in this price category). But all-in-all probably one of the best hotels / B&Bs in the area!

Endroit absolument charmant tenu par des gens à l'écoute et serviables. Le château est décoré dans un goût sûr et raffiné ! L'envie d'y être en pension est forte 🥰 Le cadre est apaisant et d'un calme qui permet de se ressourcer et de méditer. Le petit déjeuner est plus que satisfaisant 🤤. Pour résumer, un séjour qui nous a conquis et que l'on espère renouveler...

En famille pour fêter un mariage en tout petit comité . Très bon premier contact avec Antoneta , accueil chaleureux des propriétaires et cuisine délicieuse . Les jeunes mariés ont été agréablement surpris du cadre magnifique que le photographe a pu immortaliser autant en intérieur qu'en extérieur . Nous ne pouvons que recommander .

Deuxième séjour au château de Didonne, toujours autant de plaisir. Accueil personnalisé et chaleureux.
A quelques minutes des plages de Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, un lieu calme dans un parc magnifique.
Très belle chambre, literie au top.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans la belle chambre des Érables. Calme, et reposante de par sa décoration, la salle de bain est parfaite . L’endroit est superbe, la bâtisse magnifique. L’accueil est de loin le plus agréable que nous ayons eu depuis longtemps. Toute l’équipe est extra. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et pu approfondir l’histoire de ce château . C’était parfait, nous reviendrons!
