Tranquil hotel in the countryside, yet 15 minute walk to town. Comfortable room. Nice restaurant for dinner and breakfast buffet. Heated swimming pool was refreshing for a morning swim. Staff were accommodating. We would stay here again.

Lovely quiet location but minutes from Semur en axois, comfortable beds,quality linens,great pool,good bar,all staff friendly and attentive.

Like many others have said already, this hotel offers very poor value for money: superior rooms which feel superior only to those at Ibis or something; totally inadequate internet connection that does nothing but makes you nostalgically irritated, just like in those days in 1990s when you had to dial-up and wait minutes for a simple page to load; breakfast has very few options - even only one type of very chewy baguette (unbelievable for France!) - and is not particularly encouraging to wake up early for; and the pool has weird opening times - from 10.30 to 20.30, as if it were a resort hotel where people come to spend days. Dinner at the restaurant was passable, but on a very limited menu, with wait time of about 40 min for simple turkey skewers and five thin slices of grilled zucchini (definitely not worth the price). What interesting to observe is the defensive posturing of hotel management which, instead of constructively engaging with clients' criticism, simply attempts to rebut these without engaging with the substance, and instead suggesting that the problem was either the clients' inattention, misunderstanding or excessive expectations. This is my second stay here in the last two years (no other options in the area), and nothing has changed since.
