Wanted to shout out the great entertainment team - we’re great with the kids and did some above and beyond things for my son like getting some sonic colouring sheets-printed off. Also handled kids that were being really rude and swearing etc, in a professional way to make it a safe fun place. Lovely pool on site too, arcade wish had prizes in the 2p machines. The site was lovely and quiet, the hot tub was amazing and great to see it being tested daily. On site maintenance guys also lovely and wished us safe trip off. Some marks on furniture from previous people but nothing that would make me be worried about staying again. Our shower got jammed, reported it and they came out within minutes. Would go again

Lodge was really nice, situated on a quiet safe lodge site. Minutes away from the club and site facilities. We had a fantastic time at the lodge. Staff at the club were also wonderful and very friendly. Will definitely be booking again. Also I loved how the hot tub was checked everyday. I’ve stayed at a lot of lodges were that’s not done.

We came as a group of 5 women for the 90'sweekend , we stayed in a 4 bed hot tub lodge which was immaculately clean, we did have a problem with the boiler but within minutes of me calling reception the maintenance team came and sorted it. We felt safe & secure not only was there security in the club house but we saw them driving around both sandy glade & sandy meadows. We have already booked for next year & we cant wait.

Just got back from here and first time on this park and yes was nice clean a bit wear and tear but it was clean hot tub could of been filled up a little more but was ok. Entertainment room is a bit small for size of park. Cafe on site sandy glade really nice sunday lunch. sandy medows nice quite area which suited us. We will return in 2027 as we all ready have another john fowler booked for 2026. All staff we came across was friendly.

We were in a gold lodge but unfortunately it was not in the best of conditions holes and marks on walls and doors also it was not very clean , the cafe/restaurant and the other facilities on the sister park Sandy Glade are very dated and far too small for a complex this size so the whole Park badly needs refurbishing before I would consider returning.

- Very Clean and Hygiene - Staff nice and friendly - Only thing was entertainment bar, so busy, not enough tables and slightly too loud on the kids bit. Guests were good. - Hot tub super clean, smells fresh and saw them empty it on last day. Very happy and will probably return!!!

This is a long review but realy worth the read, a Warning of what you could Get, and its such a shame as its the type of Customer that goes there causes the problem. I booked a 7-night break at Sandy Meadow, We went the week before school holidays (October 2024) which was lucky. luckily, I was able to add Friday night at last minute, making it an 8-night stay. Reception staff polite and helpful on the phone and face to face. The staff here are the best bit. I have a medical alert assistance dog, due to my disability, which reception was aware of before I booked. I booked a Silver 3 Bed Lodge at FULL PRICE Check in was a breeze, I followed the directions to the lodge, from reception, it could not have been simpler, on first impression it looked lovely, but it was nearly dark. I have a rather bad immune system, so cleanliness is very important to me. I let of a disinfectant bomb in each room, I have to say the cleaners had done a fantastic job, I have found this in all the John Fowler sites I have stayed at, so it's obvious the cleaners are given ample cleaning time. I saw so many check outs during my stay and it looked like 2 cleaners to each unit and in there for about 45 minutes. If the last guest leaves it clean and have stripped the beds as asked, it's a heck of a time to clean, an hour and a half between 2 cleaners in total. Here is where our cleaning starts, even though it all looked clean, all crockery, cutlery. Glasses, pots pans etc cleaned. Unit safe to use. The bed linen was WHITE & spotlessly clean & ironed. Very well stocked cooking utensils & equipment, Russel Hobbs Kettle & Toaster (high power, faster than at home) Microwave poor quality, took for ever to heat food. Luckily for us only 5 of us came, as the unit was not as described, it should have been 1 double bed and 2 twin rooms, we got 2 x Double beds and 1 twin room. I have stayed at John Fowler before, so I know rules on equipment etc, should be exact number of items to the max number of guests allowed to stay, and you get a telephone call if something is not correct, previous fault, missing glasses, NOT US, BUT WE DID NOT REPORT AS WE DID NOT KNOW THE RULES: This is where it starts to go wrong, so out with pen and paper: KITCHEN Only 4 tall glasses. (Small half pint) Only 2 knives. (Standard cutlery knife) Only 4 mugs. Broken Pyrex Jug. (Cracked all the way down) HOB ( Won't work) Massive chunk of worktop missing, (Top surface separated from the bottom chipboard, cracking & splitting, Verry Sharp DANGEROUS) LOUNGE DINNER 1 X Pair of Curtains Dirty. (Dried in Blood or Ketchup, Blood would not surprise me, see later) Lounge Carpet ( Burnt carpet with an IRON, why when you are supplied by an ironing board??) Dining table (Edges badly warn and chips out of the table, the glass inlay centre, containing dirt in and around edges, chairs look like been rocked on, had to bang legs in to get the chairs stable, as when you sat on, you felt un-stable) Coffee Table. (chipped sides a

We are a family of six adults currently staying at this lodge park number 507 First impressions very disappointed . The lodge is advertised as having Central Heating, Double Glazing, Master Bedroom with TV, 2 twin bedrooms, TV & DVD Player or Smart TV, Modern fitted On arrival we found one of the dining chairs had a broken leg, There were only five dining plates, no television in the master bedroom and only four chairs in the outside dining area. These issues were reported to reception along with a request for two extra pillows. So far the chair has been repaired and the missing plate replaced no sign of the television or extra pillows though.

I had my hen weekend here the first weekend of September. My and the girls come every year but this one was a little bit special. we stayed in 522 and it was just perfect. My girlies went above and beyond for me but little did i realise the park staff (Kaz, not Kath ;) ) and the stripeys would be so welcoming to a hen dressed in full paraphernalia. We had a fabulous evening dancing the night away on Saturday night and even got to meet Trixie on Sunday!!! Always the best weekend away but this was was just that little bit more. Thank you :)
