Promenade Inn & Suites Oceanfront

The room was incorrect but the staff fixed it and they were very helpful. The new room had someone else’s leftovers and a used coffee pod in the coffee maker with no available coffee for our use. Overall it was still a decent a stay. No air conditioning just box fans but we survived.

This is an older hotel in a great location. Pay the extra for a view. The beds are old and need to be replaced as of this date July 2023. The first room one can tell the bed needed to be replaced by the look. Then attempting to sleep, it was lumpy. I had to complain to front desk and they moved us rooms and that bed too was old but better than the first room. The one person at the front desk did us good.

We’ve stayed here before when it was the Shilo. This was the best yet! We stayed 3 nights. Friendly staff and great location. Pool is 24 hours!! Finally! A hotel that gets it! Hotel staffed checked on us daily. Highly recommend! Paul and Brittany were great!

I had a horrible experience there. A guy named Randy made a few passes at me and claimed to be the manager, but his behavior was so unprofessional it’s hard to believe he holds any real authority. If he does, that place is in serious trouble. It was uncomfortable and completely inappropriate I’m never going back there again.

Very comfortable room with great views of the ocean. We had stayed here before when it was the Shilo but trip was way better because of the front desk lady Bailee. She is amazing!! Her and Randy helped us with the room we needed for our handicapped friends and everything worked out well. Thank You again.

After being booked into a $250 suite that I did not ask for, and my company will not pay for, it took 5 full days to get a refund to my account; meanwhile the staff was too lazy to go to my room and retrieve a very expensive item I had left in the room. They were all smiles (like the twilight zone) as They told me 5 times that they did not have it, but yet when I sent a colleague there personally, it magically appeared. (they weren't stealing, they had never gone and looked for it) I have requested that my folio be emailed to me, and snotty Bailey at the front desk refused. I am waiting for the 10th day in a row for the manager to call me back. If they don't today, I will charge back the entire stay and we can go from there. DON'T stay here.... ps... there's MAJOR construction on the hotel all summer, and you will also be treated to SCREAMING and CURSING construction workers at 7am. Lastly, the homeless congregate near the hotel, so you will also be treated to whatever show they have going on that night. (I am a social worker, and I am used to it, but on vacation it might be a drag to watch)
