We stayed in several places along the California coast. All were in the same price range, this was the WORST!. I am 80 years old my wife is near 70, so we were placed in the farthest room on the highest floor. (3rd) The elevator was never mentioned at checkin and when I asked one of the maids if there was one, she said it is broken. The stairway was disgusting and seemed decrepit. The hallways reminded one of a flophouse and the room stunk like old mildew! The air conditioner only worked on Fan and the hair dryer didn't work at all. The bed was ok and the tv service.....weird.

Room was dirty had used q tips in it bed where clean and pest free over all it was quite had one incident with a black guys fallowing my wife around not sure what that was about but over all a decent stay

Shower never got hot, only lukewarm. Room was very exposed to ambient noise and made Fremont St sound like a racetrack. Room wasn’t “dirty,” but wasn’t clean either. Seems like a lot of surface wiping but no deep cleaning in a lot time. No bugs, no mold… which is more than I can say for competitors in a similar price range. Overall, expect to get what you pay for.

The property is definitely older. The bedding and towels could use an upgrade. Finding spots/stains and hair in your bedding, towels and shower (upon check-in) is definitely a turn off. Phone didn't work. Shower vent/fan was disgusting and there was mold on the ceiling. Had the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door the entire time and housekeeping still entered. Wouldn't stay here again.

Facility needs some TLC but otherwise a surprisingly comfortable stay in clean & quiet room with very pleasant & helpful young man at front desk & daily housekeeping. We would happily stay here again!

Bed was clean, even checking in late at 12:40a there were parties in rooms, check in staff was very nice, bed was clean but room smelled of old cigarettes and old vomit. I was exhausted from an 8 hour drive with no other options so I went to sleep but woke up and the smells were even stronger. Would not recommend
