Entire facility is in desperate need of updating/cleaning/repair. Have been coming to Boulders annually. Wow, they are really letting the place 'go'. I checked in late in the evening. No offer of a ride to my casita. I was left wandering around in the dark until one of the golf carts appeared while taking others to their room snd gave me a ride. Room had bugs...hot and cold water faucets reversed...threshold to room is a fall hazard. Gal at desk kindly fielded my complaints. Seems Hilton no longer runs this property leaving it in the 'care' of local investors. This is such a special place. Too bad it is falling into disrepair.

I stayed here once before as a speaker at a conference. This time I came back with my best friend and we just wanted to relax and catch up and be treated like queens which we were! The golf cart service is the greatest for anyone who has a little bit of disability like I do. They are there at every whim. The food in the restaurants is excellent. The landscaping and the Casitas are gorgeous and well appointed. I will stay there again in a heartbeat.

Very mediocre experience. Locker room and facilities dark and dank. Totally needs a refresh, My locker was broken. Service indifferent. Hot tub not working. Pool area pretty, but closed early. Not worth the $354 for a 75 minute massage! Save your money and go elsewhere.

We’ve been coming to the Boulders for almost 25 years because we love the scenery and the layout of the resort. However, our stay this week was so bad we ended up leaving a night early. The staff at the front desk bordered on being rude and were far from welcoming. Our rooms was not clean - dirty floors, dirty glasses and a toilet that barely flushed. To top it off, there was a hole in the sliding door frame large enough to fit desert creatures. The restaurant, tennis and golf staff were great and the concierge was another high point. No room service between 11am and 5pm. The pool chairs are dated and the service there was slow. We felt like we were bothering the server when we wanted to order. We moved to the Four Seasons and the service was amazing.

Went here for our 30th wedding anniversary but wouldn’t recommend for the following reasons: -Rooms outdated -Golf course rooms are quite noisy. During both mornings it was quite noisy with the grass cutting and leaf blowing around 6:30-7 am. -Food service: restaurant didn’t appear fully staffed so went to get grab and go at golf course. OJ was several days old. Went to return it but no one came out. -No acknowledgement of our 30th -Lighted nature path and Boulder path needs maintenance as several light fixtures not working especially on the steps. Overall, their landscaping is very nice. We used points to pay for the room so it doesn’t “hurt” as much. However, not the memories we wanted to create to celebrate our 30th.

Hotel is part of the Waldorf Astoria collection but no where near that quality. We told them that we were celebrating our 30th anniversary but they didn’t even offer us a drink or have robes in the room. Rooms are in good shape but dated. We received a first floor room on the golf course. Each morning we were awakened very early to grass cutters or men with leaf blowers close to our room which was very annoying. We took a walk along the nature path and along the Boulders but there were several stair lights and lights along the path which were not maintained. We had to use the light on our phone to make sure we saw the stairs and didn’t fall as we are in our late 60’s/early seventies. We went to have breakfast in the restaurant but left since there was a line and no one came out to even talk to us. Seemed like they didn’t have enough staff. We went to the golf club to get grab and go food. My husband’s fresh orange juice was several days old and he ended up throwing it out. We went back in to tell them but no one came out after waiting several minutes. Overall, we would not recommend this resort for the money they charge. We used points but wish we would have saved them for a better place to celebrate our 30th.

The Boulders is easily one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. The staff were so kind and attentive, and you can tell they really care about their guests. The property is absolutely beautiful — peaceful, perfectly maintained, and surrounded by stunning desert views. My room was spotless and comfortable, and everything about my stay felt relaxing and special. I can’t wait to come back.

We arrived on a night when it was raining buckets, and cold as hell; and even in the dark we could tell there was something about the Boulders that was different. The next day after a good nights sleep on the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever had, with the sun up, and the rain a distant memory the true grandeur of the resort sank in. I've included some pictures of the scenery that greeted us, and I can say the pictures do not capture the true beauty on display. It really has to be experienced. Surrounded by nature on all sides you feel as if you have travelled to some far-away exotic locale, and it is very easy to forget the world for a time. Now onto the resort proper. The first thing we encountered were the incredible staff of the resort. We'd come to them after our flight out to visit family was cancelled, and we were wet and cold; Shirley at the front desk took one look at us and jumped into action. She booked us into a room, her favorite, and I have to say she has excellent taste. From there the bell staff drove us to our room, and carried our bags upstairs to our room. They took the time to walk us through the room's amenities, and left us to decompress. The room we were in was a single king, with a fireplace (non-functioning) but still nice, a comfortable area to sit and relax, a bathroom bigger than my spare bedrooms back home, and sliding shutter doors that offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the boulders outside, 4 door widths wide. As I mentioned the bed was the most comfortable I've had at any hotel. That first day we walked to the spa for a couples massage, and Kasha, and Jasmine proceeded to massage the previous days' tension away. The massage was amazing, they were very focused on us, and our preferences, adapting their massages on the fly. At every point our comfort was their sole focus. We don't get massages often, but this was something special. In the gender specific facilities they have a Ofuro tub, kept at 98º, a dry, and wet sauna, lockers, and showers. On the grounds they have different areas offering serene surroundings to unwind. There is also a quiet pool and spa on the premises. That leads me to the single greatest part of our experience, the staff. From the moment we checked in, Shirley made it her mission to ensure we had an amazing experience. Justin and Susan the concierge were able to help us with any reservations, or questions we had. At the Discovery lounge the first night, Perla and Etkin, two lovely ladies, served us dinner and drinks with kindness, and great conversation. At the pools Marcella mixed us the perfect Pina coladas each to our tastes. Mia at Palo Verde served us an amazing breakfast the next morning. We had a single negative experience at a restaurant, and when we politely made them aware of it, management listened; the food and drink manager Hridesh quite literally went way above and beyond anything we expected given the situation. This resort understands that
