Welcome to the Barn in Lexington with a Hot Tub! We built this vacation rental so that people could come out and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. Less than 45 minutes from downtown Louisville, but farther than that from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hot tub on the back porch overlooks a nice open area in the woods where you could see Deer, Turkey and all other sorts of wildlife. There is also a nice firepit area with 4 chairs to set and enjoy the fire. The barn is a studio type set up with a King bed out in the open area and a Queen bed with an electric fireplace in a separate bedroom. Had a good time here. The property was beautiful. The cabin was nice inside. The hot tub was amazing.

We stayed 3 nights, and enjoyed every minute... quiet, secluded, and peaceful... hot tub was nice, small grocery not too far away... check in and check out easy... not very good cell service, but outside on picnic table we were able to make and receive calls.... would definitely stay again...

Short Get Away
Overall, this was a great place to stay. I was not aware that there was no Wi-Fi at this location. I had to go back and review, and sure enough it was not listed. So that would be my only negative.

Nice place - middle of nowhere
Nice place. Far from everything. No internet or decent television but you’re not renting this property for that. Only issue is someone was definitely outside on the porch in the night. Obviously not the fault of the host but be careful if you are the renter.

It was a very nice little get away without going too far. Everything was clean, including the hot tub. We will definitely keep this place in mind in the future!

Cozy and Secluded
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. It was very clean and comfortable. A few of the downsides to be aware of:The furnace ran constantly bc the cottage is not insulated so it had to constantly run to keep us warm. If you’re staying here during the winter months, I would suggest sleeping in the back bedroom, so you don’t have to hear it running.The kitchen did not have steak knives or a butcher knife and cutting board, so bring your own stuff if you're going to grill a steakThere is no WiFi so if you want to watch a movie there is only a DVD player. Pro Tip: The back bedroom has live TV but not the main TV. That's really all the downsides so overall, it's a wonderful place to relax and recharge. The Hot Tub was nice and clean, and the wooded view was perfect. Give it a try, we think you'll enjoy it.
