My wife and I reserved a room here in the winter so we could stay in the Ft Ticonderoga area. The Maple Leaf motel and grounds are immaculate and our room was a big surprise as it had a huge king size bed, a cabin motifs and a mini refrigerator/freezer which was greatly appreciated. The price we paid seems awfully high at $250 a night, but I suppose “location, location, location “ applies. The only downside was the front steps which were broken and the boards had large gaps in which they caught my feet and I fell. The exhaust vent in the bathroom can be heard on the front porch. Other than having to climb 4 steep steps on broken boards, it was a wonderful place to stay.

We had made late reservations for a trip to Maine. Schroon Lake was a great stopping place for us the first night before we got on the ferry. Reservations were easy, the price was very reasonable, and the accommodations were excellent! We came in late in the evening and called ahead to get reassurances that we were good to go. The check in happened over the phone and we slipped in without a hitch. It was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this Motel to anyone looking for a good place to stay.

The location for my trip was key. I hiked up in northern peaks and had to be at great sacandaga lake the next day .
I took a drive to see the actual Schroon Lake . It was a peaceful place to rest

Engagement weekend
The cabin was adorable. Very comfortable and was perfect. I am a bad sleeper but I slept great! Nice little touches like snacks and drinks. Went there because My son got engaged

Will definitely stay in this charming motel again!
This place was really cute and absolutely met our needs! The only problem was that our code to check in stopped working, and after calling the person who reached out to us with check-in instructions, the problem was efficiently resolved.
The room itself was really lovely, the amenities and snacks were very much appreciated, the beds were super comfortable, and the air conditioning was very efficient. The location was perfect - quiet and convenient!
The only opportunities we saw were in the shower. It was clean with plenty of hot water and great water pressure, but It could stand to be repainted, and the inner shower curtain looked as though it needed to be replaced - but other than that, this was an incredibly charming place to stay in Schroon Lake! We will definitely stay here again!

Nice comfortable motel. It's cozy and reasonably priced. It's quiet and the property is well kept. Parking with a boat is easy and there is power to charge the boat. I've stayed here several times and will stay again.
