"We were a group of four good friends and we were in Rayong for a ”durian fest ”..... we were there to try out the different variety of durians This hotel in Rayong is perfect for its location. Its efficiency and proficient staff members who were accommodating .  We all also agreed that the international breakfast buffet was exceptional and we would stay at this hotel just for the breakfast :) We also drove our car so we were glad that there was always ample space for parking ."

"We stayed in this king-size room with a mountain view. The room is spacious and brand-new. Clean and cozy. The date we stayed was during the new year festival so there were a lot of guests. Waiting for checking-in took a bit longer as there was only one staff member at the counter. Nice location in the middle of Rayong and next to a PPT petro station."

"Let's start with the fact that this hotel is convenient only when you have a car. That is why we chose a hotel about 5 km from the sea, focusing on the cost of ~5000 tr with breakfast for a family room (we are traveling 2 adults, 3 children). We had a late check-in, managed to check in before 22:00, there is no 24-hour reception, so we had to constantly write by email that we were on the way. They answered us promptly. The hotel is not new, but we did not pay much attention to the furniture, the most important thing is that the room is clean, cleaning every day, they wash the bathroom, the floors are thorough, the curtains are of course not very clean. Towels are changed daily, water, tea, coffee. For 4 guests. The hotel itself is clean. The pool deserves special attention. It is really cool. The water is warm. It is both in the shade and in the sun. The children swam with pleasure both in the morning and in the evening. There is a jacuzzi, the children's pool did not work. The territory is well-groomed, green, cleaned daily, there are a lot of leaves, but they are constantly trampled. There is a small gym and a sauna on the territory of the pool. The hotel is empty, there are very few vacationers. It seemed to us that the hotel worked only for us. This is of course a huge plus, silence, tranquility. But for several days we stayed overnight, apparently the workers actively smoked on the territory of the hotel. Breakfasts are 99% Asian cuisine, but there were sausages, scrambled eggs and ham. There was a terribly shortage of pastries with coffee. The coffee is very strong! On the 4th day, I really didn’t want to go to breakfast. But the staff is very friendly, polite and you can feel that they want to solve all the issues so that we can relax comfortably. There is also parking for cars and motorbikes, as well as charging for electric. Would we return to this hotel again? Definitely yes, for 2-3 days. Since we had a very good impression of the hotel. Within walking distance there are cafes for every taste, a BIGc store."

"Well let’s see, first I don’t think we needed to pay so much for the family room. It had no windows in the room to even enjoy the view or have any natural light. The bathroom had a window, ?? But no a/c Breakfast was pre order I expect a buffet style like most hotels/resorts. Food was good tho, We checked in a little late and everything was closed but only 6pm. Had no Wi-Fi which was a big issue having kids everything closed nothing to do. Family room no bathtub? Or microwave…. The phone in the room did not work couldn’t even call the front desk. The water park is nice, time for a few repairs tho, closes at 6pm. It wasn’t the best hotel or the worse hotel/resort. But for 5,000thb around 140usd after taxes. I expected a little more. "

"The hotel is by the creek, the humidity is heavy, and it is far away from the city. You need to have a car or taxi to get there. The natural environment is good, the rooms are relatively old, and there is only one cafe where you can order food. Breakfast is generally shared with the school in a dining room. Eat the school breakfast buffet."

"Our Favorite Island Escape! This was our fifth stay at Vangduen Hotel, and we already can’t wait to come back! It’s the kind of place that never disappoints. In fact, the only sad part is packing up to leave. The location is perfect—tucked away on the quiet side of the island, offering so much peace and natural beauty. The clear, calm water and the soft white sand (honestly, it feels like flour!) make it the perfect spot to relax. Even though it’s peaceful, there’s still plenty to do. There’s a great selection of restaurants, a small shop for anything you might need, and a fun fire show in the evenings. The hotel itself is spotless, well-equipped, and super comfortable. The staff are amazing—so friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. It’s those little things that make each stay so special. We’d recommend this place 100%. In fact, we’ve already booked our next trip in two weeks! Vangduen Hotel really is a gem, and we feel lucky to have found it."

"I stayed at a quiet mini resort, which was great for peace and quiet. The best part was the chocolate cabin in the woods behind it. The infinity pool was mostly quiet and the rooms were cleaned well, which was important to me as someone with OCD. Despite being on the ground level with a sea view, I didn't encounter any bugs or ants inside. The staff was decent, but not overly welcoming or friendly. Jik, who worked at the reception, was helpful and booked reservations for us at restaurants and other Samed group resorts. However, the resort was a bit far (15-minute drive) from everything else, making it quite a ride by motorbike or taxi. The distance felt longer when traveling around the island. My least favourite thing was the breakfast restaurant. The Japanese style seating, while great for lunches or dinners, became annoying after a day or two, especially during breakfast when I needed to get up several times and bruised myself getting up. The restaurant also had an ant problem, which made me feel very uneasy and ruined my enjoyment of breakfast. I wished we hadn't included breakfast at the hotel. I felt that the same hygiene methods used for the rooms should be applied to the restaurant to prevent the ant issue."
