Stayed here for one night. The room was spotless, staff friendly and attentive and the breakfast exceptional. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Very warm welcome with very friendly staff. Even had a young chap help with carry ing our bags to our room. Spacious, modern and sleek room. Breakfast was amazing best with had for long long time with plenty of options. Will be definitely be back

My partner and I booked for five nights stay at the rountree Lodge Hotel, Claire was extremely accommodating on the telephone as I booked to direct and gave me a very fair price for our room, we were also assured that we would be given the best room in the hotel and we definitely had the best room in my opinion very well appointed huge bed excellent tea and coffee making facilities Lovely TV big enough to watch in bed with a lovely bathroom on suite which was huge with a shower toilet handbase and mirrors huge window private very very nice bathroom lots of room, the breakfast in the morning was also superb huge selection to order from and if breakfast is included in your stay as it was for Paul and myself Simon, It really is worth the inclusive price the selection was absolutely amazing and the best thing is the breakfast restaurant becomes an actual cafe after breakfast so there's no pressure to leave instantly or being a hurry you can have a really lovely relaxed breakfast in a lovely atmosphere which is very funky and groovy and the quality of the food was excellent lots of local produce and good quality and extremely well cooked I had numerous breakfasts over the few days and that included the full English which was excellent and the eggs Benedict which was also lovely in fact I had that two or three times it was so delicious but there was also pancakes with berries and numerous other options a far more than you would normally get in other b&bs so they really do go the extra mile to make sure they guess are happy and customers coming to the cafe get exactly the same treatment so it's a really friendly atmosphere to be around. Roundtree Lodge hotel is also very well placed if you want to be near the spa end of Scarborough it's also very close to the 150-year-old lift from the esplanade to the beach which is an interesting experience in itself but very handy and very good location. As far as the room is concerned as I said earlier it was very well appointed and the cleaners did an excellent job every morning after breakfast cleaning the room ready for us to come back to in the afternoon again very friendly and very helpful That includes all the staff because they really all do go that extra mile to make sure you have a pleasant stay. As I said before Claire The Owner Manager Really went to a lot of effort to make sure that all the guests in the hotel were having a wonderful holiday and happy enough that they would want to come back again and again and again ,As Paul and I definitely will. Scarborough is a lovely place with a Vibrant Summer Music Scene and Many other Lovely places Nr By like Whitby York Leeds . I Would say I have high standards and I would Genuinely Rate The Rowntree Lodge Hotel Scarborough 5 Stars Giving Excellent Value For Money. 5*

Fabulous hotel in a good location. Our room was lovely and very big with a separate seating area. Everything was spotlessly clean and the quality of the bed linen, towels was first class. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. We both had the full cooked breakfast which was delicious. I would definitely recommend and we shall be back
