"Hotel is conveniently located next to the port. It serves our purpose to visit our daughter when the cruise ship she is working on docked there. There is a Bus No 7 from the Station that you can take to the hotel. Though it is not directly outside the hotel but it is walking distance from the bus stop to the hotel. Hotel is neat and clean. Surrounding there are plenty of restaurants and a supermarket across the bus stop where you alight. Generally, we could not find many Italians that speak English compared to Swiss. We had a hard time trying to ask for directions. Don't get me wrong. There are nice and helpful people around who voluntarily guide us and helped us on the bus and on the streets."

The staff including Sarah and Claudia could not have done more to make our wedding day more perfect. Everyone was so kind and they did every thing to make our day so special. Claudia organised everything even my bouquet! Nothing was too much trouble. La Prua Restaurant was literally superb, the food divine and service excellent. "We stayed at this hotel for four days over Easter 2026 (2 adults and a minor). The triple room was spacious, bright, and clean, with a lovely terrace and two loungers. The main window didn't close properly (not a serious issue). Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient parking next to the hotel (reservations recommended). The hotel is very close to the sea. The stairs to the mezzanine floor where the elevator is located are a bit inconvenient. The food was excellent! Compliments to the chef for the three dinners we had. The dishes were carefully prepared and of good quality. We'll be back in the future!"

"This hotel is in the most beautiful setting. It’s a little dated but that adds to its charm. The waiting staff are really helpful and friendly. The food is amazing. It’s a short walk to the lovely town of Taormina and the bus station is right behind so convenient for getting around. Not great for those with mobility issues as there’s lots of steps and located high up."

"Stayed 3 nights with my family, very small room, I asked for a triple for 3 adults, I was given a room with a camp bed for a child, it was supposed to have a hill view, in reality a roadside view from the room side and a view of garbage bins on the bathroom side, dated furniture as well as the fixtures ... Air conditioning not adjustable, either you freeze or you die of heat if you decide to turn it off. Terrible breakfast, little of everything, poor food, spoiled cheese with mold in plain sight ... it would have been necessary to call the NAS for an inspection. I don't know on what basis they give 3 stars to this hotel, it would be appropriate for the competent bodies to do their job of checking, one star is even too much!"
