Cleanliness: The apartment and surrounding areas are consistently praised for being clean, well-kept, and maintained. Guests note the cleanliness of the kitchen, bathrooms, and communal spaces, contributing to a comfortable stay.

This low rating is because of our hellish check-in experience — which was awful. We used a third party booking site, paid, got receipts from the site AND the hotel. But the desk had no record of our reservation and said there were no more rooms. The desk clerk continued checking others in. We stood in the lobby with our luggage, panicking about where we could sleep (it was 8:30 pm and we had been driving all day). We also wondered how we could get our $ refunded. As we were about to go back to the car, reception called out. “Oh! It IS here!”. We quickly received a key and went to the room. The door was propped open with a bag of garbage and a tumble of wet towels. We went back to the desk and were given keys to another room, upstairs. We consulted with friends in the hospitality industry and they suggested writing a note to the manager, describing our experience. Days later, we have had ZERO response to our complaint. VERY disappointed in this Marriot property. However the television was not “smart” and kept cutting out. (No wifi connection.) All this being said, the room we ended up in was very nice and we enjoyed the Toasted Barrel bar/restaurant, which was right on the ground floor.
