SpringHill Suites Savannah I-95 South

Not the best hotel Elevator didn’t seem right and there was leftover food from another guest in the bar fridge and after telling the front desk person he didn’t know what to do, so overall it was terrible service

SH Suites is located about 15-20 minutes from downtown Savanah. Location is great for those that need to get back on the 95 to continue their travels. Plenty of gas and food options in the area. Check in was a breeze. Breakfast was plentiful. Room is very spacious and comfortable. Only negative room 217 could have had a better job of cleaning shower and shower head can be changed. I walked into this hotel and was tired and worn out from driving. I got my room and was so happy when I opened my room door. My room was nice and fresh smelling(not perfumed) just fresh. The ac was on so it was cool and it made me feel better immediately. My TV worked fine, couch comfortable, bed firm and neat, bathroom clean and a decent rate! What is going on? Well I proud that Marriott is cleaning things up. The breakfast was good. Missed having bacon. The two different sausages turkey and pork don’t work for me day after day. But my one beef that I have seen at two properties lately, they have packaged waffles that say keep frozen until cooking sitting on the counter. Not even cool! How sick could that make someone if they ate it? Please bring this to the management attention. I had food poisoning from something like that once and I don’t wish that on anyone. But everything else has been wonderful and they should be recognized. I have spent more than 700 nights in various Marriott properties over the last 30 years. Some good some bad. The only thing I ask is a clean bed and safe room, be nice and we will be friends. If not, I will let everyone know you are not doing your job.

Questions about new renovations It’s always a pleasure to stay at Springhill Suites. I know you have been renovating. I’ve had an interior design business in Manhattan for 50 years. Your bath mirror frame (Room 334) is too high. My head sat between the bottom and the mirror frame. Pretty light, but not good enough to really put on makeup. Too soft. The light switch in the bathroom started a very noisy and annoying fan. Not appreciated at 3:00am. My A/C was also very noisy. Why, in this day and age, AND after you renovated? Fire your designer… Otherwise, lovely stay.

I would stay again!!! The location was perfect for us. I am very picky when it comes to where I stay. I thought it was a great stay and clean. The bed was very comfy. The only negative thing I would say is that the hallway on the second floor had a corn chip smell, so I was a little concerned about the room, but when we walked in, it was clean and fresh. And I really loved how you could adjust the air in the room because we like it cold while we sleep.
