We came down from SC to get a car....this hotel was just down the road from the dealership. Wish it hadn't been raining but that's ok. Awesome 1 night stay! Quiet room. Beautiful room. Small but efficient. Just enough. Great breakfast. Easy check in check out. Wish I could stay one more night. I had one of the best night's sleep I've had in a looooong time! Huge TV to watch from the bed. Just a great stay! If we have to come back we will definitely stay here. Free parking!!! Thank you Hilton Tru Savannah!!!!

We had an appalling experience at Tru by Hilton in Savannah. This property has a serious cockroach infestation – not a stray bug here or there, but full-blown roaches crawling in the rooms and hallways. We were given a room on the fourth floor and immediately found a large cockroach crawling around. We requested to be moved, and the front desk clerk personally inspected a second room before moving us, claiming it was clear. Within 15 minutes of settling in, another huge roach was crawling across the bed. Absolutely unacceptable. To make matters worse, we witnessed a third guest and a staff member in the hallway trying to kill yet another roach, confirming this wasn’t an isolated issue—it’s an infestation. We ended up having to leave the hotel completely. We didn’t feel safe or comfortable staying another minute. Hilton should be ashamed to have its name attached to this property. This wasn’t just an inconvenience—it was disgusting and unsanitary. Until they address this roach problem thoroughly and professionally, I would highly recommend avoiding this location altogether.
