Motel needs improvement. Numerous issues, big and small. Bathroom floor was filthy, causing socks to turn black. Shower mechanism required a lot of physical strength to operate. Air conditioner was so loud that it drowned out tv. Have to walk across parking lot to use microwave and get coffee. Regular coffee very watery. Fridge unplugged when he came in. We had to put our perishable food in ice buckets until the fridge became cold.

Wonderful stay Upon our arrival, I was greeted by who I believe are the owners children. They were extremely friendly. Very down to earth and really seemed to want me to enjoy my stay. I’ve been to many other hotels where the Desk people were borderline rude because they just wanted to get me checked in and moved down my way. These two greeted me as soon as I walked through the door with a big smile on their faces They asked me how my trip was and treated me like they’ve known me for quite some time. They also instructed me where the ice machine and other things were at so I wouldn’t have to search. Anyway, they were very friendly. We went to our rooms unloaded our stuff then we went out to get something to eat. When coming back after dinner, I ran into the owner in the parking lot Who is taking care of the parking lot, cleaning it and checking with other guest to see if everything was going well. When we got up in the morning, I saw the owner and his wife cleaning rooms. Then I noticed both of the children were also helping clean rooms. This really impressed me how well their family works together and how pleasant they all were about working together. I guess long story short this family owned business is taken care of the way I would if I owned it. My family was very happy with our rooms and we were very happy with their customer service. We will be back again.
