Sunset Serenity Jomtien Resort

1. The room was lovely, clean, and the air conditioning was cool (I booked the cheapest room in the building). It was worth the price. 2. The hotel has a sea view, but it's not directly on the beach. Don't expect it to be like a lake or brackish water that turns into the sea. The water there has a smell. When you swim in the pool, you can smell the slight breeze. Even with a room at this price, the sea view is truly beautiful. It's acceptable for the price. I didn't expect it to be excellent. 3. The staff seemed to be the only Thai person in the entire hotel. The others couldn't communicate at all, so contacting them was quite difficult. 4. We booked with breakfast included. I didn't expect it to be this good, but I didn't expect it to be this bad. The service was absolutely terrible. - Breakfast is served from 8:00-10:00 AM, but I went to the dining room at 8:20 AM and couldn't find anyone. I only saw customers standing around confused. I had to look for staff. When I finally did, the staff couldn't communicate and didn't speak Thai. How could guests order food? It was extremely tiring. - Breakfast is served as a set. The rice porridge is huge. / The Pad Krapow is delicious. I recommend ordering just these two items, and you won't be disappointed. I don't recommend anything else. - Tea and coffee were out of stock, not refilled, and nothing was left out. I waited at least an hour for food. I wonder if they even went out to buy it, instead of giving you a choice at check-in so you could plan for the morning. - I was shocked at the breakfast. No staff were around to watch the customers. They disappeared. Customers wanted something and couldn't do anything. If this continues, I'd eliminate breakfast altogether. Don't sell it. Or just make rice porridge or stir-fried basil. Make it delicious without too much variety. It might not be this bad. Finally, I'd like to tell the owner who bought this hotel to take over. If you're thinking of running a business, please come down and train your staff. This was on a Saturday, with at least 15 rooms occupied. The management is terrible. I don't blame the staff, but the owner. If they don't improve, prepare to wait for another company to take over. Almost every table looked stunned that day. The two chefs were running around, not knowing anything at all. It was like they hadn't been trained. I'm so disappointed. At this price, other hotels offer much better service.

It exceeded my expectations. The room was very big, the air conditioner was very cool, very satisfying. The room was clean, the bed was soft, there was a parking lot, the staff were polite, it was quiet, and it was right on the beach. However, the door opened at 10:00. The breakfast was very good, with a variety of choices and it was delicious. If I have a chance, I will go back to stay again.

The hotel is clean, but the bathroom doesn't drain well..it needs to be improved.
