Super 8 by Wyndham Tulsa

I stayed 2 nights and 2 days here with my ESA, Sophie. ALL of the staff was well spoken, kind, helpful and went above any expectations I had. I can't remember the girls name who checked me in, but I think she works the 3pm to 11pm shift. She jumped through all kinds of hoops to accommodate us and never made us feel like we were a bother. Their prices outmatch pretty much every other motel. Rooms are immaculate. McDonald's, waffle house in the same parking lot so that saves on door dash or delivery. And, even though, it's a little far from where I would normally stay in Tulsa this will be the place I come to from now in. 10/10

Stayed one night while on the road. My first impression wasn’t great, as the property looks old and dated. However, it turned out to be quite alright. Overall fairly quiet after hours. The room was good size and clean, albeit with dated décor. The A/C worked well, although the room was quite humid. Amenities included mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker (the latter with a used coffee filter in it). The light above the desk didn’t work. Power sockets were reasonably well located (including near the bed), but there wasn’t one near the desk - I had to move furniture and unplug the TV. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom with everything in working order. The shower had good water pressure, but the water temperature only ranged from hot to really hot (no cold water, even after letting the water run for several minutes). There was cold water in the sink. Good wifi. Easy parking in front of the building. Overall a decent option for one night, and a good value for price.

We stayed one night at this place in early September and I deeply regret that we made the reservation sight unseen. The Super 8 by Wyndham Tulsa at 5811 S 49th W Ave is by far the worst Super 8 I’ve seen, and Wyndham should be ashamed to have their name associated with it. Our room (117) was dilapidated, dirty, smelly, and had a floor that felt sticky. The door to this room was so badly warped that sunlight shone brightly through the gaps and the bottom looked like it had been kicked in. Perhaps weirdest of all, we couldn’t get cold or even cool water. The only two temperatures available in the sink or the shower were hot and hotter. A decent motel would have promptly replaced the defective valve. There were lots of other turn-offs, most memorably the littered open ditch next to the parking lot and the disgusting green algae hue of the motel’s closed swimming pool. The complimentary breakfast is minimal, and we decided to pay for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. On the plus side, the desk clerk was friendly and helpful, and our room did have good mattresses and a nice flat screen TV. Bottom line: Stay away.

I made reservations thru *******. When we arrived the clerk told us there no rooms available and were sold out. He told us ******* must have overbooked. An email confirmation from ******* never came thru. We eventually had to get a room from another motel. I’m expecting ******* to give me a full refund. Haven’t heard anything yet

I didn't like how the situation was handled when it came to the door not locking. I was there on vacation therefore because the door didn't lock I had to stay in my room for three hours. This caused me to miss going on my tour of places in Oklahoma.
