Double Tree by Hilton São Paulo Itaim

Business trip to São Paulo. Great area. Safe and clean. Staff lovely. Basic and could do with a little renovation but bed comfy and all functional. Gym good too. Well placed for nice restaurants and walk to Ibirapuera park. Tip: my suite was over two floors with a spiral staircase which tbh was a PITA with my suitcase so unless you desperately need the space I’d avoid!

The customer service was outstanding, and the team went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. A very special thank you to Andressa, Antonio, Douglas, and Filipe, your attention to detail, helpfulness, and understanding truly made a difference. The hotel is located in a vibrant and very safe area, surrounded by a wide variety of affordable restaurants and bars. It’s also within walking distance of Iguatemi Shopping Centre and well-connected by public transport, making it easy to explore all of São Paulo. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!

Spacious room and very helpful and responsive staff. Breakfast was very good. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom needs updating badly. Cracked tiles, old grout, shower temperature control can be better.

The hotel is located in the beautiful Itaim neighborhood, surrounded by excellent restaurants, bars, and shopping options. The entire front desk team was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Although I didn’t have a chance to use the pool or gym, as I was mostly at the hotel only late in the evening and during breakfast, I really enjoyed the breakfast experience. It was varied and generous, with freshly made omelets, a wide selection of fresh fruit, and several local specialties. I was upgraded to a suite-like room that appeared recently renovated. It was stylishly furnished, with a large, comfortable bed – overall a great space to relax. One small detail that bothered me a bit was the position of the air conditioning unit, which was placed directly above the bed. One issue I encountered was the noise from a large construction site located directly behind my room – unfortunately part of the hotel itself – which started quite early in the morning. I reported the matter to the front desk, first speaking to Felipe, who was especially attentive and kind. Shortly after, both Antonio and Douglas (the manager) reached out to me, offered a prompt and effective solution, and sincerely apologized. They personally supported me during the room change and followed up several times to ensure I was comfortable in the new room. This level of service and care truly stood out to me and turned an unfortunate situation into a very positive experience. All in all, a great and very personal hotel with outstanding service. I would definitely stay again.
