This was my first time staying at a hotel in Yalong Bay, and as someone who's stayed in many guesthouses, I can only describe the decor of this place as providing a sense of 'security.' I'm the type of person who always deadbolts their door at home when sleeping. I booked a suite here, and seriously, the curtains enclosing the bed made me feel so cocooned and wrapped up. After a full day of activities, I slept incredibly soundly! The environment was also very quiet. They even have a dedicated robot constantly cleaning the swimming pool. This is the only guesthouse I've seen that continuously cleans its pool! For someone with a bit of a潔癖 (germophobia) like me, it was absolutely perfect! Just a little side note: there are electric scooters available at the entrance, costing ¥50 for half a day. If you only have one destination, I wouldn't really recommend renting one, but if you're planning to visit nearby night markets, it's super convenient. The hotel is very new. We booked two different rooms for two nights because we wanted the room type, but the hotel upgraded us so we didn't have to change rooms. The hotel staff were also very nice and always smiled when they saw us. Since it was my birthday, the hotel even gave me a coffee voucher, which was great!
